Thanks for the support fellas it was a pretty easy decision. I will never be able to afford a house get that isn't a condo or townhouse and that isn't happening. As for work it was pretty easy for the missus and I to find comparable jobs to what we do down here obviously a bit of a pay cut but all things considered we'll do just fine. Can't wait until the 24th ......

Seems like allot of fellow members are on the move lately. I'm another one to get as far away as possible from the gta. Packing up and moving to the Timmins area at the end of the month. Had enough of the people ,traffic, and battle fishing weekend warriors on any lake less than a 3 hour drive. Can't wait to slow down the pace of life and enjoy my time outdoors. Any one in the area want to be a guide would love to learn some new spots. Always an open seat in the boat for anyone willing to share some local knowledge. Cheers fellas some solid fish posts coming this year.

I'm heading up there for a job opportunity this week if I can get everything sorted out by the weekend I'm looking to hit the ice. If I come across anything I'll pm you. Any guys in the area wanna play guide beers afterwards are on me.

That's pretty sweet what's the shore fishing like there? Gonna be in Ocho Rios (sp) for a week bringing some gear for sure. Hopefully I can get into some action like that.

yep it was lake Anna what a beautiful place to fish. Missed an awesome photo op with a bald eagle. Gonna fry them up on the BBQ later Brian I'll add pics and let you know how they turned out.

Lol this auto corrected to strippers. That would definitely be a nf post. Here's a couple pics from our trip today all caught in 25 to 35 feet on live bait herring and gizzard shad. Released at least two more limits and a couple dozen under the slot.

This is the last of them flew out today so I am back home and missing that place already. Finished the week with 21 different species. The biggest being about a seven foot two hundred pound nurse shark. Here's some shots off of the digital camera. I wish the one I got on Friday was every bit of two hundred pounds. Just got home about an hour ago gotta grab the pics off the digital with a ton more huge fish. Got some wicked photos of a tarpon getting airborne.

Here's a couple shots from the cell today arms sore everyone in the boat today landed a lemon shark. Mine was about five feet.

Three more species as well puts me to nine. Mahi Mahi, tile fish and snowy groupe and its only Monday.

What a day triple and quadruple headers, the board behind us isn't even half of of our take today. Arms are sore sunburn is sore. the locals waiting for their take. hope everybody i know is hungry

Two more species off the dock tonight mangrove snapper and pin fish. Helped a friendly couple from socal land a crazy acrobatic little tarpon. I now know where I am retiring this is truly a fisherman's paradise.

Got to marathon around noon yesterday. Check in wasn't until four so jumped on a party boat for a couple hours. The goal is twenty species in a week got four in this trip. Yellowtail snapper, file fish, remora and parrot fish. Jump another charter tomorrow for a full day of Mahi's so excited probably won't sleep much tonight I'm like a kid at Christmas. parrot fish in midair escape.

Just wondering if anyone is going to be in the area. The missus and I will be down next week and definitely grabbing a couple charters. Splitting costs would help us get on a couple more. Reports to follow. .......
