Be careful if your thinking of going to joe I was there last weekend. The other fellas are right there is some good fishing to be had. The main lake still has open water so stick to the more protected bays. We only got a few small ones but the huge storm may have had something to do with that.
What's up everyone been around here for a while but haven't posted in a long time. I got a new smartphone and figure I'd rather spend my time here than on facebook or twitter. Here's some fish porn I hope this works.....
Dorado in dominican from late november epic battle with this permit of the pier at the hotel on six pound mono with a travel rod the guy I gave it to looks happier than me mid january till last weekend on the ice

Just below the dam there is lots of smallies, try jigs and worms. but be prepared for some battle fishing its not the most unknown of fishing spots and tends to get really crowded on weekends.
I was down there in november and i used www.ladypamela2.com. Good guys and they put us on a ton of fish if you have the dollars i would recomend going out with them they are out of ft lauderdale about 45 min away. Heres a pic we were only out for 2 hours caught all these dolphin and a few spanish mackerel.
Was spending some time in florida over the past few weeks. Got out on a couple charters, The first one is out of ft. lauderdale Only me and the missus on the boat not a bad day for a few hours fishing all fish were caught in hour and a half. Some action shots.
For their size those dolphins fight hard even on the ovesized tackle. Caught a few small tuna and a spanish mackrel as well but heres some photos of the catch.
After that the wife and I went on a cruise in the carribean and got on a reef fishing charter out of st Maarten. Ihad brought along my 5 piece travel rod equiped with 8 lb. test and figured id give it a whirl. Fish on right away and off just as quick 8 lb. test 100 ft down on a reef dosn't hold up to well on a medim action rod did get this little jack in on the light setup.
Heres a bucha reef fish shots..................

Love my quantum pti use it for everything from the eleven foot noodle rod to the ugly stick , to the ice rod. No complaints from me on this reel drag is smooth and its a tough little reel im pretty hard on my gear and this one has taken quite a beating. I would definately buy another and at 120 its a decent price.
How do i go about getting a boat ownership i had no idea one was needed. I've been all over in my old girl 86 bayliner bought off a friends grandfather years ago and had no idea i needed an ownership. I might have a bill of sale somewhere but i doubt it.
Wow man whatta slab, im in the area wanna go fishing? Hope you get the record its a shame its such a hard process to get it weighed should be made easier so monsters like that can be released....good luck with the weigh in.
I fished a small tourney this weekend on st john and there were dead carp everywhere. Im also wondering if this disease is going to jump to other species, we caught a pretty scabbed up snot rocket although all of our other catches were healthy.
