yeah i have picked up a little bit of the southern drawl.

Had the oppertunity to fish with Lew on a Kawartha lake yesterday and had a great time and really learned a lot from the muskie master himself. I was able to land a little guy. She put up a nice fight and was caught on a spinner bait. The poor thing had a hook from somebody else stuck inside its mouth with a wire leader sticking out. Lew was able to remove the hook and we let the fish go with a real nice quick release. I lost another one that slammed my spinner bait really hard and jumpped about 2 feet in the air and spit the spinner bait back at me. That was really exciting, first time that has happend to me. Cold front moved thorugh and that slowed the fishing down a little bit. Lew was able to get a few follows but the big girls were not too interested in taking any of our baits.

U of L does have a fishing team but its for Bass and i perfer the toothy critters.

I came up for two weeks of vacation and i still have one more week left then back to school in Kentucky. I didn't get a measreument of the fish, just a quick picture and put her back into the drink. I cant help the smiling thing.

Was out muskie fishing in the Kawarthas yesterday afternoon and was able to pick up this guy. Caught her on a spinner bait.

balsam gets pretty rough. Fishing is pretty good around emily espeically during dawn/dusk period for walleye and some big bass in the weeds and the odd musky.

I have caught alot of lm and SM in six mile lake draging tubes. I think there may be more smallies. But there are some big ones in there. Some real nice crappies and some pike also. The only place that i know to launch is the provincial park, and thats not free.

Orangeville Reservoir is not a bad place. Little lake in Barrie has a lot of hammer handles.
