I was using a 1/8 oz, 1/2 inch blue fox spinner that I put a bucktal trebble on.... not really a pike lure at all

Just when i was startin to think there were no more fish in there....feels good, that was my first fish sinse fall because I dont ice fish . I was talkin to a concervation officer rigth after i caught her, liscence check lol. and he was saying that it was proboly a hatchery fish from new york because it had a pelvic fin clipped. Do they clip hatchery fish from Ontario?

Got out to Ashbridges Bay for a couple hours today. Went 1 for 1. First Brown trout ever for me! weighed 6 lbs and was about 24 inches. She took a bucktail spinner. heres a couple pics.... -Ben

I am thinkin about fishing in the CFT as an Amature this year either at the thousand islands stop or Lake Nippising. I was wondering if any of you guys had fished as an AM in the super series? Do you have any feed back or any advice. Thanks guys -Ben

I was wat ashbridges bay lthis past weekend and caught a tiny pike. I was just getting a little axiuos for sprin and went out to take a couple cassts with a spinnerbait and got the smallest pike ever it was like 10 inches. got me even more pumped for spring.

Well I bought it used from the Fish On-Tario Boothe with no box, no manual, just the reel for $55. The problem is that the reel is that when you try to adjust the brake spead or whaever its called (The nob on the side by the drag.) which is supposed to put more or less friction on the spool doesnt work, when i turn the nob the line still doesnt come out faster or less fast.... and if i cant fix it myself I'll take it to that store Carp-starter was talking about. thanks Allot! is Aikmens expensive?

So I bought a used reel at the fishing show from and just gave it to my dad today for his birthday, looked fine when i bought it but when he spooled some line on it to test it out it seems the break was broken. Its a quantum iron silk IR130. Anyone have any idea how I could fix it?

Im the Jerk on the other end. Never had much confidence in stick baits.

Its definately a shame that people do that, i learned awhile ago theres no use in gettin mad about it because it will continue no matter what you or I do. sucks doesnt it

In the states they have no ketchup chips, all dressed chips, Mr. Big's and dont even mention a beavertail or poutine cause they'll think your crazy! I'm so glad im living in Canada.

Definately crank baits. I use allot of soft plastics but whenever i go to a tackle shop I end up coming home with a firetiger crankbait of some kind and I have no idea why.

Ive bought allot of cheap spinning combos, some last allot longer than other. Daiwa and Qunatum combos have always seemed to last longer than any others ive bought. Id say just go a bass pro shops rod and a reel that doesnt have too much plastic on it. Rear drag on cheep reels never last long either in my opinion. -Ben

Me and my uncle got to talking and both think its wrong to fish for bass, walleye, ect. during the spawn, Neither of us being Salmon fisherman we're wondering why its ok for so many people to fish during the Salmon spawn? We know a couple salmon guys and they are truely conservationists and really do care, if they thought it was wrong they wouldn't fish during the spawn. Why is this? -Ben

Did anyone catch Classics Patterns on WFN on thursday? That was probobly the best fishing show episode Ive ever seen. It was kevin vandam smallmouth fishing, i dont think ive ever seen a half hour tv show with that much info in it.

I think it would be a fun time to go out fishing with Bigbass Rich, I think that would be very interesting.....

So i was bored today and went to the don river in toronto to bike around took a couple casts pulled up a used condom then decided it wasz time to go home....and I cut the line i didnt try to save my lure for those of you wondering
