And one fish is still better than no fish!
Thanks for the report. Like Setomonkey says; great to get any report this time of year! And way to go changing up presentations 'til you found some success.
Pam, that painting is soooo awesome!!!
It's a scene everyone who fishes can relate to. You really caputure these little snap-shot moments that all of us have experienced.. and your paintings just allow us to enjoy 'em longer.
Thank you.
Wow, that IS Dover beach! Holy Cow, I never new they planted palm trees there!!!
At first I thought you had just photoshopped a couple of palm trees into a Dover photo.
It certainly does make it look tropical down there. Fishing on the pier will have a whole different feel to it. I'll have to dig out my Cabana-wear.
I think Telly will always be an outstanding back-up but never a number 1 goaltender. That seems to be the role he's being pigeon-holed into, anyway. Of course, with some great play in Phoenix( and they need it ), he could change all that.
PS.. Gotta love DanTheMan's new jersey.
I agree with the others. I really enjoy looking over your work when you post it, Pam. Truly inspired stuff and, of course, we all love and can relate to the subject matter.
Thank you.
As long as the rivers and habours don't freeze, there's still fishing to be had.
Then, of course, there's the Christmas week( just before the year ends )where Simcoe freezes over in Keswick and ice fishing begins.
Maybe the drags of some reels are loosened, but not ALL of them! I don't let a any month go by in the year without fishing.
Good fishin' all!!
Nice job pinch-hitting there Darrell! Those are some beautiful fish, to be sure. I'll be the contest winner "Hoss" was a happy fellow.
Did I say those were beautiful fish!???
That's a nice report and some nice pics of your day, Sherriff!
Thanks for sharing with us. I can't imagine a nicer way to spend such a nice fall day.
Congratz on the fish and it sounds like you're gonna have to give Ned some lessons, eh? lol
Ya, that's one of the hoax stories, BJE. A great fish to be sure, just not caught in Kincardine. A different species of sturgeon all together from our great lakes fish, as well.
Storing rods and reels in the garage!? How barbaric!!!
lol
All my fishing gear is inside sprawled from one end of the spare room to the other.
PS.. Much easier to get away with if you're Single.
Rick, all that OT you've been putting in at time-and-a-half...
LOL
Really nice work.
Thank you and to everyone who's extra work makes this the place it is for us.
Cheers!
Ya, a fellow posted a pic of a sturgeon he caught in a Lake Ontario harbour on the Niagara message board a few months ago. A gorgeous fish to be sure. But I haven't heard of any Erie sturgeon either.
Nothing would compare to that BC fish though. Yikes!
Like anything new, it'll take a bit of getting used to but, man, she looks pretty slick!
Nice work guys. I'm guessing it took many hours of work but when it finally comes together, it must feel good, eh?
Cheers!
