Hey Phat, I have a place up there..off Lang, and the fishing seems to get better ever year...you can rent a boat a lang lake marina and lost of places aroudn there to check out...or drive in through panache to Hannah or walker..both have eyes. cheers. YV

Hey all, dont post much, but am on here trolling quite often... Had a great week away at the cottage (south of Espanola on Lang Lake)and managed to get in some good fishing time ...Lots of variety, except the one we have been trying to get (walleye)...none the less, had to show you a quick pick of my GF's first 5 pounder...we weighed it on a RAPALA and it hit 5.04oz....nice fight and a beauty! hope this pic works if not: cheers! Trying to figure out if there is any chance the ice is out up there. Given the weather forecast for the coming weekend, i thought it would be a great one to open up the camp. I would be canoeing in... Any insight is appreciated! Yv

Hey Lunatic, I have a place on the chain of lakes that include Lang (use lang as my marina)...good fishing if you know where to go..with Bass/Pike being the staples and Walleye/Lakers being a bit more challenging.. August is a great time up there, and Constantine can certainly help you get to the good spots, and back lakes (van winkle, Leech, etc) Good luck, and enjoy that little piece of paradise!!! Yv

6 inches around Medora (bala)....

i was on Medora lake and surrounding area and had 5-6 inches on the lake, edges were still a bit slushy. with the -22 degree temps over the weekend and continuing this week, im sure it will continue to improve... cheers, Yv
