Hey anybody know the lake ice reports from north of madoc or Kaladar, or could take an educated guess...any info would be great.....I know bay of quinte has some spots frozen over so I would guess north of Madoc would be.

ok now what about dried out salted minnows that have been dead 2 or more weeks.....the virus should die by then...I have some and they work awsome for trout. Don't wanna start an uproar sorry guys..LOL

Well considering that is a good hour out of the way one way I may be just using artificials and scent, I can't see anything good with waisting 20 bucks in gas to find out that you have to pay a ton for minnows or that there may not be any there.....this sucks! Thanks for the info but $30-50 in costs for a couple dozen minnows is outragious (gas included)

Hey CC.....is that in a tributary your ice fishing....can the ice really get thick enough to stand on....I am from Niagara and we don't have the tribs around here to test that!

if your worried about the snow.....just shovel it off around the hole....if you get cold then shovel a large area around the hole....LOL

ya they can get spooked...but when the water visibility is about 8-10 inches there is no worries on that matter...LOL Almost all our fish were browns except the first fish I caught was a small steelie but Dax was busy and couldn't take a pic....it had beautiful colours!
