  1. Chicken was created first. Done. Easy answer.
  2. You need to learn to share Steve. It is a big lake. Trust me when I say I left most of your fish alone. lol
  3. Yeah, I must assume you have shaved yours off as well. Get about 1.5 mph more withouth them. lol
  4. Wow, not cool. Sorry to hear about that.
  5. I did not weigh this fish but I have caught several 5 pound smallies and this was everybit as big as some of those. This is a big georgian bay specimen. Incredible fishery there and there is so much good water it would take a lifetime just to fish a fraction of it.
  6. Jackie Moon Best promoter in Basketball! lol. Free corndogs if the Tropics score 120! That pic was of Jackie Mercer. Funny stuff Dave.
  7. Went out with Jaydub for an evening of fishing last night and the weather was absolutely perfect. Started off in Simcoe searching for some largemouth and then our plan was to hit up Couchching at night for some smallie action. We did our best in Simcoe before it got dark but only managed a few smaller bass and lost a few as well. Just as the sun was setting we decided to hit up Couchiching. On the way to my smallie spot I thought I would throw a frog at some reeds. Glad I did. Caught a real nice lmb and it could be my pb but I did not weigh it for some reason. The fish completely inhaled my frog. The frog is still in its mouth in the picture and you can't see any of it. Her fins were a bit ratty looking but she was very strong. Not a real match for my new heavy action 7'6" rod and 50# pp (I actually swung that fish into the boat instead of trying to net or lip her). Not sure how much she weighed but she must be close to 5 pounds, maybe a bit less. We stayed on Couchiching until midnight and managed a bunch of rockbass hitting lures that were way too big for them. lol. Jaydub is the rock bass master. I also caught a smallie and lost a nice smallie at the boat as it spit the hook at the boat as it made it 4th acrobatic jump. The final pic is of a 1 pound perch (it weighed exactly 1 pound)that I caught last Thurs in Couchiching. I was fishing for smallies but for some reason the perch were attacking the bait all day. enjoy Jydub with a nice largie taken on a senko in some pretty skinny water Little largie on a wacky rigged senko in weeds on 8 pound test (not too smart) Possible PB lmb taken on a Bobby's Perfect frog in reeds/pads 1 pound of perch take on a white bandit 100 crankbait
  8. nice fish Man you look like you could be related to Mikethebassfisher
  9. Hey Steve That was me who passed you in the narrows on Thursday aft. I think you had a client. I was leaving couch. I caught a few smallies but no real size but the perch were insane and would not leave my crankbaits alone. Nice job on the bass. Looks like you have been busy with the charters. Good work!
  10. Nice Eye!
  11. very cool
  12. Are you talking about the fairgrounds off Essa or Park Place the old Molson Park? I think you are talking about that. Yeah that blows. I am talking about the Barrie Fairgrounds right at the Essa Rd exit (the horse race track)
  13. How about this move? The vacant land that was the fairground is going to be made into shopping of some kind. How about a cabela's attached to an ikea. Everyone in the family would be happy.
  14. Nice job Mike. That 5 lb largie would easily be a 6+ in the fall.
  15. nice work with the gull. I am struggling a bit with the bass on Simcoe right now. Not where they usually are but I have only been out once for them so far.
  16. It did not deserve to be stopped. Everytime the ref asked Brock to defend himself he did and he moved as well. Great non-stopage. Carwin put all his eggs in one basket and couldn't finish the job. I like Carwin and he had a great takedown defense in the 1st round but now he needs to go back and work on the cardio. Lesnar looked sharp in the 2nd and dominated. He passed guard so quickly for a big guy and I have probably never seen anyone ever leave a full mount on purpose. Turns out it was the right move. Slick indeed.
  17. very cool pics and that fish is a monster!
  18. Me too. I live off Ardagh as well. We must live pretty close to each other.
  19. frogs in the gunk=fun
  20. I will be able to get there in 3 minutes. Only Brian might be closer but that is up for argument.
  21. The reels are abu Garcia 6000s. Thanks
  22. I have 2 reels spooled with braid and I want to use them on Lake O for salmon. Do I have to run a mono of fluoro leader or is braid fine?
