I just remembered another foreign Idol who had the same deal. He was a blonde, funny looking guy and the arrogant english judge kept talking his goofy looks. I don't recall his name so i can't help you find him but his amazing singing talent crushed his competitors. He won that, then went on to World Idol where he beat Kelly Clarkson which never gets publicized over here, of course. All i can remember is he sang U2's Beautiful Day, Tal Bachman's "She's so High", and recorded a remake of "Stars Go Blue" in a duet with an established foreign blonde singer.

Yeah, some of the contestants are so off the charts in singing ability and stage performance that I wonder. I've had this theory the last few seasons that some of the contestants are actually pre-selected, A&R scouted talents who have been planted into the group. It's excellent promotion and builds a fan base before an album is ever produced. Not only that, it tests the market for each singer via votes, tv/media, and online postings. In the process, it even makes money through the idol show rather than costing money in high-risk spending to promote an unknown. Unfortunately, this woman could never make it in album sales because music sales are driven by image more than talent, but she could definitley work in somehting like live stage shows, movie sound tracks, etc.

short warranty on those. 1 year, i think. And it'll cost you about $100 because you need to pay shipping both ways plus a fee for the repair/exchange of the broken section.

1- they should always be ready for a situation with guns because there could be illegal guns anywhere. Illegal guns can be in any house just as marijuana can be in any house, not just in the residences of people with legal prescriptions for marijuana 2- mentally ill people would not pass the checks made during the Possession OR Acquisition applications. They could only get the guns illegally, in which case, having them registry is moot.

The way i heard it was it also tells them who owns what and if a crime is committed with a particular caliber rifle, they could check up on people who owned one. I don't know how long this version of the regulation lasted. .

Is there a ban on using lead sinkers and jigs etc?

In all my years of hunting in northern ON, i have yet to see a dead bear, red fox, wolf, or moose on the forest floor. and yet i know they're there and do die. I adapted this from a show on finding sasquatch. LOL. the statement is true, nonetheless -
that's always been part of my argument also. thugs who carry illegal guns on the streets don't want our 40" hunting rifles that weigh 15 pounds. Even a sawn-off rifle/shotgun would be 3-4 times the size of a typical pistol or revolver. And in my lifetime, handguns have always been "restricted" firearms, harder to get, and have never been allow in hunting. Handguns are only legal for shooting at a ranges here which means most hunters and rural residents have absolutely no interest in them. They might as well start registering owners of air conditioners becasue that will be as effective in reducing gun crimes and illegal guns on the streets. at least it'll lower the price of wheat in Poland. ever see the photocopy of a registration certificate for a B&D soldering gun? hilarious. I think the application was a joke, but a registration certificate was actually issued.

Yep, it's same reason why mitratory bird hunting allows only steel, tungsten or bismuth shot. Birds and animals pick it up from the lake beds and eat it. -
Somebody who has a chance to steal a gun will take it whether it's registered or not. A person who stores guns properly or not has nothing to do with the gun being identifiable in a database. A piece of paper telling you who owns it has nothing to do with finding it any more than knowing who owns a car helps find it after it's stolen. If a gun is stolen and found, it will get back to the owner but it will certainly not influence how quickly it can be found just as knowing a car owner's name will locate a stolen car any quicker.
-
This whole thing has become such a farce and there have been so many changes in deadlines and requirements that I no longer care where it stands. I'd like to see it go away but if it's like the last time they considered it, the database of gun owners will still be kept and used as intended.

they did an amazing cover of this song. The original is not thin lizzy version, BTW, it's an irish jig. lol. . all the covers from garage days are excellent, my favorite being "the wait"

trapped under ice Escape. 2 songs they don't play live. I like almost everything they did before hetfield took the edge off his voice, so anything before black album.

Are they the newer kind that turn on instantly or the older type with a delay?

Fishing with Shelly and Courtney. I've been a member of their fan club since the mid 90's.

comodo. I forget what their old name was....but they offer an entire suite

I guess i was focusing too much on what Concept setup is and what the guides are. I agree, as we both said, they are different height than typical guides, so i guess there really isn't a disagreement. sorry if i made it soudn that way.

The new spinning reel is a reworked Exceler, the older prodigy spinner is a Capricorn. They usually add a bearing or something before they get a reel store branded so, in a way, they're all better value than the originals. you won't go wrong with their C5, the revo SC, and prodigy baitcaster either.

ryobi sold their fishing division a few years back so it's hard to say exactly how their new products compare. That's the reason they've dropped out of sight in our stores. In the past though, they put out some top quality gear with a reel or two retailing close to $1000. knowing nothing else though, i would go by the user reviews and make a judgement from there. Besides that, i think Cabelas has 60 day return policy on cabelas branded items. try it and keep only if you like it.

It's more the idea than the guides themselves. The "Concept" is the methodology of laying out guides and how to choose them, and that in itself doesn't require guides labeled as "fuji concept" guides. It can be done with any guide set but they happen to make guides that optimize the concept setup. For example, you can easily do it with just about any modern AmTak or Pac Bay guide because they are not any taller than proper fuji concepts. But, for the running guides on the top section, you would have to drop down to their single foot fly guides with inserts..which they both have. Bag it all up and you could tag it as a set of "Pac Bay Concept guides". That's what fuji has done...besides come up with the idea. Have you tried micro guides? I'm just getting into them now, I mean nothing on the rod but micros including the stripper. I'll wait until after this season before i settle on what i think of them. I've only gone down to 3's. I have a few rods from last year with single foot #5 titanium frame fly guides with inserts and thought they were great. Only one rod had one guide pulled off the blank, not bad considering how small they are and how rough i am with my stuff.

After just 1 year, it's probably still good. It doens't rot or decay with time like most other line materials. It's normal for the line to lose color if that's why you want to change it.
-
1-usefulness of the bendy hooks probably depends on the type of fish you're after. Fish that thrash around in the water will probably get off more often than with a stiff hook. I know i've lost fish on normal hooks that bent during a fight, I don't have any use for soft hooks designed to bend. 2- fuji concept isn't a type of guide, it's more a method of determining guide type and placement on a rod. You can get fuji brand "concept" guides in probably 1/2 a dozen types from the cheapest "Alconites" to the most expensive titanium framed SiC's. I'm not sure if gold cermets are sold with the concept label or not...now that's an expensive guide! You can build a fuji style Concept rod without using "concept" guides. The difference between fuji concept guides and typical guides is frame height. Fuji Concepts are generally lower on the blank and the tip ring sits flush with the blank rather than 3-5mm off the rod. Like i said though, you can use a concept idea with any brand of guides as long as you follow the theory. Casting distance is improved with a concept layout because the rod's energy is not wasted swinging big heavy guides. The main idea is it lowers the weight on the rod tip using small guides so the energy of the casting motion is transfered to the lure rather than absorbed by the weight of the rod. Another element of the Concept system is lower frame guides reducing torque on the rod when there's a lot of line tension.

There's no point in creating a brand new system when there is already a universally accepted system in place.

I agree. Unless there's a place for various border patrols to physically put the endorsements and visas stamps, a DL will never be equivalent to a passport. There will always be remote entry points somewhere in the world that do not have computer access for any kind of electronic marking.
