  1. 68 cents a liter at Barrie Costco right now. You can bet we will pay a much higher price, I am thinking $2 or more a liter, once this virus thing clears .
  2. I am glad you made it Cliff .
  3. I thought I knew that boat till you said that Lew . Johns old boat ?
  4. I,ll remember that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, LOL BTW, You got my tag yet ? While your out and about, you might as well pick it up.
  5. Nice Pump. What cleats do you have ? I have seen a few guys wearing them . Thanks
  6. I was going to say a high 5, but unsure the motor Lex has . Had that on my 115 Mariner, 18 ft ranger . It was quick up and planed real nice . RPM at 58 mph was 5000-5300. Motor was humming just nice. Ask Terry, he was on it .LOL
  7. I went to the local nofrills after work. First store I have been in for a week . I need to get some small supply's. I could not believe the devastation of empty shelves. 90% fresh produce was gone. Meat was well, down to scraps. There was plenty of salt beef buckets, so grabbed one. That stuff lasts for ever . Lots of frozen products,.Not a single cleaning/disinfectant to be found. Well there was Javax . That will work just fine for me . Sometimes old school works for those that know. It does smell bleachy in here, but means clean . What I took from this was, it has happen close to home. Never thought this would . See the tornadoes and flooding down south, line ups, people hoarding and taking what they can. Makes one think, never take for granted what we have . On a side note, I hear all the TP hoarding is so people can make masks . It not for wiping yer ars at all. That is interesting . As for all this hoarding and buying up everything , I cannot wrap my head around how the store would allow this with whats been going on . I can understand the fear, survival , but I for one, watched others today looking and struggling to find their needs in the store . Older people from the old age complex . It sadden me very much . Me, I can buy any canned product, pasta and whip up a dinner fit for anyone, but these folks, they need easy .And no, thats not cat food . We all have heard of this happening, and I am sure, it still does . Very sad . I,ll leave now . I have depressed myself enough .
  8. Today was my last day on the hard water . I dedicated my NATS to only ice fishing . I even attached my cleats to them and never took them off. They were part of the boot . Boots were put on once I was ready to go out on the ice . I feel I can give an honest report on these boots. Those that own them already know, they are super light. This was a real positive selling feature for me from the start. Next was comfort . Yes I had to buy 3 sizes up, but once the liner got broke in,they felt like they were 10,s. Even at over size, the boot never made me feel clumsy. Tripping over my feet . Warmth was very surprising . The liner is half the thickness of the baffins, and I never felt a difference . Pull them out after every outing, to dry, the next morning , ready to go. For the price, the comfort, warmth and weight, these boots rock. I highly recommend them. Time to break out the waders now once again.
  9. I am seeing many adverts on this site . My malware goes crazy. Blocking this and that . Whats up ?
  10. My Ram did the same when I got it. 2014 new 8 speed tranny . They installed new updates and it never been back. Nice ride G.
  11. I had many fish look at the new tie . Even had a hit that I am sure was a small whitie . Lost it half way up. It hit really good, but I guess getting the hook set in the yap really good is a must.
  12. Or shoulder bolts. That would be my preference . They are more tolerance tight and harden.
  13. But once you figure it out like I have been able, and I am a HB 101 for dummies guy, I have it set that I was even able to mark a size 10 scud drop hook in 90 fow this morning .
  14. I said this last night . The new baby boom .
  15. Cliff, stay and enjoy. I know I would.
  16. Barrie has closed just about everything except stores. Rinks, movie theaters and the library.
  17. Got a freezer full of stuff to cook up. Was at Brants factory and Starskys this morning. Loaded up . Going to make a mash potato, herring and beet salad this weekend.
  18. I think SARS was much worse then this . I remember it well . I do not see the same preparations being done . I will be a loner til this is over. On the ice far far away from anyone, unless they are catching, then I might stay a few yards away from them .
  19. One more realistic .Just need to fine tune it a bit .
  20. They have closed the schools for 3 weeks. I feel for those parents that have to stay home from work or shell out money for day care and cannot afford to pay or lose their wages due to staying home . Many live pay cheque to pay cheque.. I am staying away from groups and even have gone as far as wearing gloves when using a key pad for when I pay by debit. Everything gets wipes down with cleaner here that we both touch. Faucet, door handles what ever we come in contact daily. Not sure if I am over reacting, but I don't feel like getting sick for this 2 week lock down they have in place . I have not read anywhere where it says if you get this virus, stay quarantined for the 14 days and get cleared, that you cannot catch it again.
  21. Many have had great days out Albert . They unlike me,have machines, so walking makes me limited, unless it is like it is out there now. I have been able to walk to those 1-2 mile spots . If I can get out one more day this weekend,I will give these 2 new ties a try .
  22. Using advance setting lets YOU control the unit. I find this very helpful.
