Wow,a good friend and long time member,got a hold of me this morning. I now have a very nice wading jacket. It,s a Lewis Creek,and it was made in England.Wax Cotten design. It,s in new condition. TY MY FRIEND. So my quest is over.

Thanks Geoff. I have one already,Great for when your out on the boat,but these jackets are meant to hold the essentials for wading. ex the big pockets in front. The wet skin dosent have this,all so the hoods suck IMO.

Anyone use this brand? I,m looking for my first river jacket now,and came across this one. Looks like a nice one for the money. Sims are out of my price range right now,and I don,t want to go cheap and regret it. I plan on being on the rivers a lot this year,so I need quality,at a reasonable price. Picked up a real nice warm hoody from Marks warehouse. Boy, is it going to keep me warm. Thanks

Funny how OFC gets around eh. Kemp,I fished a local riv on sunday and met up with a riv fella. He had a king pin, and I was asking about it,as I am looking at buying one. Long talk short,he started talking about Spey fishing. I had said there was a member on a site that just built one.He tells me Spey fishing is awesome. I asked about how you fish it.It was a bit like fly fishing,and pining combined.Thats what I took from it. Did some you tube search, and I like this style. (dont tell the mrs,s)More money to spend.LOL Very nice build.

If i lived that close to there,that would be my choice me brudder. Im surprised,you havent had an offer to fish there,or maybe you have. When I ate fresh trout,I would brine it,then do as said,skin down. I wouldnt cook it over heat. Indirect heat.I would sprinkle it with brown sugar. Cooks it real nice,and I liked mine real dry. I did the same with herring (minus the sugar) I would coat it with fresh ground pepper. Awesome eats.

Mo,you are lucky to get that kind of millage from that ride. I have to tell ya,when that motor goes,it will sieze up and theres nothing you can do about it.Theres no repairing it. If it throws the timing chain,it,s game over. My manager had the same ride. This is what happen to him.

Welcome Jimmy. Ya keeping the spots quiet is a good thing. Fished a riv or two,caught some nice fish,is pretty much all that needs to be said. Keeps them guessing. Oh,watch for back ground shots,many frown on that here as well.
