Thanks guys. From what I have been told,there is no hatchery fish released in the Notty. They are all wild,if I heard correct. This river seems to be self containing.

If it,s no longer needed ,I agree. Blow the middle part out,That would make a nice chute up for them,and a bit of history is left.

Not sure how long it,s ben out on the market,but,,,,,,, A few weeks ago,I bought a package of this line that is to made for spinning reels only. Resists tangle and hassles. It,s both for open and close face,and a monofilament.. Im pretty much very satisfied with the new line. It,s smooth casting and very limp.It dosent spring off the reel,which is nice. I filled two ultra light spools with it,and have enough left to use as leader line for the river. Bonus. 6pd 250 yards. Anyone else try it?

I missed the call to fish Balsam. So I headed down to the bay for some fish,n. in the tube. Got the tube all blowen up,waders on,then it got kinda serious. Theres those two condos where I go out from. The horns are blowing,sirens going off,lights a flashing. As I watch to see from my limited sight,theres like 4 fire trucks,2 health care units,and cop cars blasting in. Aw maybe someone had a health issue. Just as Im ready to launch I see the smoke. Then it gets worse,,,,,, All seemed to be taken care of,so I headed on my way to do some fishing. Oh this warmed my heart. Calm waters and a sun rise. There was alot of top water action from the shinners. Oh yes,they are fine an well here. And the terns are having a hay day with them. So cool to watch them in action. They fly like an inch from the surface, What they were after. Loaded. Shallow waters and deep. 22 fow. Shoreline where I launched. Fishing was good. Nice perch were caught,but the water is still warm. 63 degrees. Guess I will call this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, LIFE GOES ON YA THAT WORKS.

LMAO Good luck with that. I do agree,but will never happen. Im all for C&R,BUT IT IS THEIR RIGHT MIKE.,but I hear what yer saying. This time of year is for meat,not eggs, Good work by the local clubs there. When I seen it for myself last fall,it was amazing. Guess I,ll just keep fishing the C&R part of my riv,knowing I,m doing my part. Then again,I did have a request for a small fish,and hit a C&K. part of the riv. I didnt feel to bad about it,as it was a clone 3 pounder.
