  1. HMMMM There was one fella that was not happy Mike. But there,s always one. They are great for breakfast. Side of scrambled eggs and toast. Maybe that,s where I went wrong. Forgot the toast.LMAO
  2. Ok. Enough,s enough. Mods, please limit Doug to one post a month with these crazy pickerel Erie reports. LOL Your having a great season there Doug. Real nice.
  3. Six mile lake ?
  4. Michael We seem to be getting a lot of this weather this year. I don,t recall seeing this kind in the 25+ years living in Barrie. When they say it,s coming, I take it seriously. No matter the out come.
  5. Thats what they said when the tornado went through Angus this year.
  6. What I dont like, is the warm air being pushed out with cold. Could get real nasty. Special Weather Statement updated by Environment Canada at 3:40 PM EDT Wednesday 10 September 2014. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Weather Statement for: City of Toronto Windsor - Essex - Chatham-Kent Sarnia - Lambton Elgin London - Middlesex Simcoe - Delhi - Norfolk Dunnville - Caledonia - Haldimand Oxford - Brant Niagara City of Hamilton Halton - Peel York - Durham Huron - Perth Waterloo - Wellington Dufferin - Innisfil Grey - Bruce Barrie - Orillia - Midland Belleville - Quinte - Northumberland Kingston - Prince Edward Peterborough - Kawartha Lakes Stirling - Tweed - South Frontenac Bancroft - Bon Echo Park Parry Sound - Muskoka Haliburton Renfrew - Pembroke - Barry's Bay Algonquin Burk's Falls - Bayfield Inlet. Significant rainfall with isolated thunderstorms expected across the regions tonight. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ==Discussion== an early fall type of low pressure system over Lake Michigan will track northeastward across Northern Lake Huron tonight then into northeastern Ontario and Quebec by Thursday morning. This moisture laden low is expected to drag a fairly sharp cold front across the regions tonight. Most regions will receive total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm. However a few thunderstorms with very heavy downpours and gusty winds will be possible tonight resulting in local rainfall amounts near 50 mm. A few wind gusts of 75 to 85 km/h are not out of the question over southwestern Ontario this evening. A well organized area of showers, heavy at times, over southwestern Ontario and in areas near Lake Huron will reach the Golden Horseshoe area by 6 PM and continue to spread east into remaining districts this evening. Motorists should be prepared for poor visibility and ponding of water on poorly drained sections of highways, resulting in difficult driving conditions. The cold front will sweep out the moisture laden airmass by Thursday morning and considerably cooler air will arrive in its wake. The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.

  16. How about,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, JUST FISH.
  17. What lake?
  18. We know where some are as well. ;)12",ers and some even nearing 14 inchers. Their just not where they usually are this time of year in the bottom end of the bay.
  19. Left and right goal posts and top bar. Not that their new. lol
  20. Erich. We had a hatch of 15 at work. Last count was 6. Yotes Im sure got them. Like said, way to small to make it through the winter.
  21. It,s getting closer.

  22. With the up coming Barrie perch event fast approaching, http://www.bfff.ca/ , Them perch better get in the bay soon. You talk about way behind. Lots of tick tick tick but very little hook ups. Bottom 2 ft of the screen is thick. All small, hell, tiny stuff. There are some signs of shiners showing up,but nothing in the numbers of years past again. No gulls,no terns to be seen either. That,s a big clue to how far behind this season is. This time last year,I was ducking away from diving terns. Covered 14 fow out to 48 fow in the bay here this morning. 7am-11am. Still seeing small ducklings swimming with their mothers. They will not survive sad to say. What a screwed up season this has been.
  23. Not a bad day on the greens. Good time, good friends and now to get the toon packed back in the Avenger, and put the clubs away til next Sept.LOL

  24. Your talking about one section of the river here. (I dont fish there. Reminds me of fishing the credit. Shoulder to shoulder. NOT ) Ya make the town of Angus look a bit more attracting. So now lets talk about the larger stretches of the river. There is NADA. Whinning you say. All you have to do is read their sign and you can see it,s bogus. As for contacting them, that is going to be happening soon,as I have another matter which Im trying to get clarified. Lew I know exactly where your talking about. That,s why they now charge to park year round. Ry I have seen it and have heard your stories of your dogs getting injuries . Seems every where these days, people want to treat the area like their own dump site.
  25. Still tundering and lightening here. Me thinks our golfing day might be a wash out. Getting alternative plans together. Still going to make it a family time. NO FISHING. NO SMOKING. Well, maybe some smoked meats and fish.LOL
