Spiel I just refuse to fish those areas,not spend my money in Angus. Fish above/below or on private property. Thats how I see it and how I say the heck with it.

Sorry I missed this one,but no PC at home til the end of the month.Yes like Steve said,if you walk out from the beach and start at 30 and go all the way out to 65 if you like. The perch there movbe around. Drilling holes in a hundred yard square area works for us out there. WARNING............There is a soft spot out there right out in front of the fountian. You may see some guys over there,but I wouldnt take a chance walking out there if you dont know where the area is.Plus It is to close to the filtered try again please plant discharge. You can also walk out from tyhe comunity center. Good bite can be had there as well. As for what fisherman said as well,yep it can be good there as well,I just dont like all the traffic.You can get your bait there as well as the hut operator is right there. Good luck.

Ok I guess I said it wrong.Yes Lew you are correct,but that is the southern part of the province. I was thinking it/Barrie was more central for all to travel.ie: north bay, timmins,bancroft,owensound. Thats all I meant.I think the lodges would would like it alot better as they wouldnt have that long travel aswell.Some could even make the day trips instead of hoteling it,another added expence. Just my 2 cents.

With the TWO new areas to be built up here in Barrie,Im thinking your going to see these shows move up here,which will draw more people,which will draw more attractions. To me I think Barrie is central.Easy drive from the north/south/east and west.All hwy.No driving through one way streets,and all that conjestion. I think it would be a possitive move for all the shows. Anyone else think this? Brookie,dont you have enough tackle anyways? LOL

Easy answer,hook up to the city water.DOH I went through this as well,not fun, but the newer fittings these days make the job a snap.If you can get to a plumbing contractor supplier,you will get all the help you need and all the up to date easy attachments. There is a hose and connector that is just a push fitting set up. Simple to put to gether. Check it out. Hope that helps. This is the place I deal with. nearnorth

Well I seen this also last night and for the life of me,could not believe my ears. New player in the game,a vetran driver like Mike and they pull a stunt like this. Thanks for the report and pictures Greg. Sure is alot of snow on all the lakes around here.I havent fished Simcoe as much as I do,been hitting the smaller lakes and having a blast. I picked up some of the mini meegs last weekend off James. Real killer baits. Thanks again for sharing.
