  5. With all joking aside with Clamp it and Irish, what scares me the most, what if I was in the bush and these guys were firing away at a bird in my direction. They had no idea where I was. One pellet is all it takes to hit the wrong spot . Like I have stated many times before.I work hard to get private land to hunt on. It takes alot of trust, from the owner to let you on his/her property. Im not sure telling the land owner is a good thing,FOR ME. Like mentioned, they may say good bye and no more hunting.Yes there are yahoo,s out there, but Im sure now that they know Im there, they wont be back. If they do,I will not confront them,I will make my way to find thier car/truck and take the advise of those here.I,ll be taking the wifes new camcorder from now on aswell,,,,,,,,just dont tell her.LOL

  9. Ah Clamp-it,there be guns envolved in this sport.
  10. Naw thats not him,he,s the one thats having a nap from dragging the 6 of them around. Nice bull.
  11. For the last two weeks have been looking forward to the opener of turkey.Up before the alarm and on my way to where I have seen those big birds. I park in the entrance to the field(this to me lets people know there is someone there). I get to my spot, set up and finish off my coffee, just as daylight is about to start. I hear the birds do thier fly down from the bush behind me and the cackling starts. Totally pumped at this time. About a half our later I can just see them making thier way along the tree line. I hear this tom gobble ,and gobble again. Sweet he is coming to. Then the crap hits the fan. KABOOM.To my disbelief, there were two guys sitting down from me along the treeline. I could not believe it. PRIVATE PROPERTY and these two jackoffs still came in and set up. Knowing that there is fire arms envoled, I didnt want to get in a huff, but I knew I had to approuch them. I waited til they were at thier down bird and headed over. Without being to much of an ars,I politley told them (my own friendly way) that they were on private land and they were tresspassing. Guess what I got as a reply? Hey ,theres no postings anywhere,is it your land? I proceeded to show them my written consent and asked them to leave. Thier answer to that,no problem,we got your bird. What ever, just leave. I went back to my truck which was about a 10 minute walk. Drove to the side road that runs along the property, but they were already gone. Whats with the ignorance.
  12. Thats a real nice bird Bill. Saddly my morning was filled with disappointment with having to argue with two guys that tresspassed and shot a huge Tom 100 yards from me. I wont go into it as this is your thread and congrats.
  13. Best of luck to all that are heading out for gobblers. Hunt safe.
  14. I seen that and was L M A O. But he does talk the truth.LOL
  15. Wayne,I will stop by and drop off a donation,I,ll be in the area anyhoo.
  16. I do believe I fished out of your boat one time. It was myself,my gandfather,my pop and 3 of my uncles. We were nailing kohos like crazy that day. Grandad even got a huge blister from fighting all them fish that day. That day was something else. Thanks for the reminder. I just might go out and wet aline, right after turkey shoot,n. Thanks all for your kind words.
  17. Now dont that bring back the days out with my grandfather. My pop and he had a box full of them. I was a hulla popper guy, then this sinko thing came along and then this thing called a tube and then theres the jerk bait. I wonder what would happen if one went back to the old school.Would they win a tourny or two?
  18. Most here know both myself and memart lost a great man a year ago yesterday ,our grandfather. One who loved family and the outdoors and never put himself ahead of others. I felt safe anywhere I went with him. He along with his brother and our father, taught us to fish,a great sport he loved and we all took to heart. I still rememeber fishing alongside him and there would be an umbrella attached to the boat, to keep the sun off his and his brothers (uncle del) heads.I use to get a good laugh out of that. Think they knew something more then us? Remember a trip to Weslakoon. We went out and fished an island that had a bit of a nock in it. He says Brian, bet if you throw it in that little opening you get a fish. Well I hit it 4 times and nailed 4 fish from it. That is one memory I will never forget. Our grandfather was a gentleman, and I have to say "IT WAS AND IS" an "HONOR" and a "GREAT PRIVALIDGE" to be his grandson. You are missed greatly along with Grandma, may you both be looking down on us along with others gone to the place above. I say. See you soon, but not to soon. When I get where Im going

  22. I would bet a coffee cup, it,s the battery. Do you have a volt meter? When you crank and it drops fast, battery is pouched.
  23. If Im not mistaken,Tim Hortons runs the event with the support of other charity groups in the city.
  24. Hey Sink there is a huge one there aswell. He walked in like he owned the yard, the shot didnt turn out very good so I didnt post it. Thanks for the comments on that 7th pic. I cant understand why my camera can take great pics at times and crap ones like the turkey ones. Guess Im going to have to finally invest in a new one. Hey Mr.B,Nice to hear from ya bud, hope alls well.
  25. Hey G, Brakes are one thing I leave for the shop. They know best when it comes to the new stuff. I know it can hit the pocket, but in my eyes,it,s worth it. It,s like no fault insurance.LOL
