  7. I have not fished the lake you are going to. As for the favorite lures for bass mine would be yum dinger, popper, and now im starting to really like yum tubes.
  8. Let's start off by saying this was the hardest lake i have ever fished before in my life. We did manage to get a fair amount of fish however I would of liked to have some bigger fish in the boat. Black Blade(Chris) is my friends dad and who i did 99% of my fishing with. As for lures we caught all of the bass on white tubes, with the exception of two.The off camera fish are as follows: Chris-Largemouth Bass:1.7,1.10,1.6,1.2,1.0 Me-Smallmouth Bass:1.5 And the photos 1.15lbs 1.10lbs 2.4lbs (Biggest Smallmouth bass) 1.15lbs 2.6lbs (Biggest Largemouth Bass) 1.10lbs 1.8lbs 1.7lbs 1.3lbs 1.15lbs And the last fish of the 2008 Bass lake trip is: Here are some other photos of our trip- Ok there is some more pictures. My only advice is to bring some tubes. As said white worked best however Chris had some hits on the darker tubes however did not land them. One morning he threw a white spinnerbait behind the boat and a 3+ SMB hit it but he could not set the hook. My hat goes off to Chris as he was always on the fish. I got skunked the first time out but right as we were about to go in for the night we pulled the boat up not to far from the launch and i kept on throwing my white tube and surely i caught my 1.15lb LMB and broke the boat jinx. There was never a dull moment in this trip and i will be sure to make some more reports as the summer goes on. The final result for bass weight was- Chris:12.3lbs Mike: 13.8lbs All together is 25.11lbs!!!
  9. Right handed so when i use a baitcaster and all spinning grar is on the right.
  10. I have that exact same lure in the frog pattern, has not even seen water. I will try it out thanks.
  11. http://www.bassprofessor.com/elite/originalfishingsnake.php They took about 3 weeks to get to me as they are in the united states, so i fish for 20minutes with them and BAM! Best topwater lure yet!
  12. My pappa and I went out for a quick morning fish today on Lake Scugog. From shore i tried some of my snakes i bought over the winter. Well as you can see they worked, snaped a few pictures of the fish coming towards me. The bass was 2.8lbs This one was 2.7lbs As said in the winter months i know these will work and they do. I will have many more fish on this bait later this season. (Snake Only Fish) Black Snake (4.8lbs) Black Snake Another little bass My first ever Pike Brown Snake (22" long) Brown Snake (2.11lbs) Brown Snake (2.5lbs) Brown Snake (2.0lbs) Brown Snake (1.15lbs) That was all for this year on my new lures and as i said earlier in the year, this bait would produce fish and indeed it did. If will hopefully send in another order during the winter months and get ready for another exciting summer of topwater snake fishing!
  13. Well tomorrow i am leaving to go camping with my friend and his family.(Blackblade)Is my friends dad. Best of luck to those going out this weekend bass fishing and i will be sure to make a report upon my return. Be safe out on the water everybody!
  14. Can a lot of rain damage your reel, or are they generally pretty good. Just a side question. I have caught many fish after a downpour but never really during.

  18. Good pictures, i like the Princecraft but thats just me
  19. Hey i fish from shore 99% of the time. If there are pads cast to them, same goes for rocks just under the surface and chances are if you are bringing in weeds from under the surface switch and go weedless or do a little topwater action on them, cast down the shore line vertically and depending on the stuff you are using you will do just fine. Lot's of people in boats cast to shore anyway meanwhile we are already there. Best of luck fishing!
  20. wow that sunrise was just perfect, love the fish caught also. Thanks for sharing.

  22. Does anyone have a picture of some of these baits: maybe a Chug Bug?
