  1. I would second the idea of making a flat bottom
  2. I had the same problem with my mom's fan, took it down, exchanged it, and the new one works fine
  3. Byng is nice, lots of fishing to be had around there
  4. I have a huge issue with the current card. Anyone can memorize the book, but can they actually operate a boat? I work at a boat ramp on the south shore of Lake Ontario. Some of the new people I talk with say they got their card, but have never been in a boat. If the boaters card is done with a "road" test, I'm all for it.
  5. Looks like bigsmallie beat me to it
  6. There are plenty of drifts in the lower. As you launch, you have the back drift, further north you have the pipeline and a few others before the mouth of the river. I will try and find the site that marks the drifts.
  7. Cranberry has a real nice golf course. LOL
  8. My only issue with the other options is the size for the same weight. Now if tungston were to be used, jigs would be smaller for the same weight.
  9. On my first boat I used an Alpine car stereo that I pulled outta my car. I don't fish in wet weather, so waterproof was not an issue. I just mounted it under the rear bench seat, and pulled it out when done playing.
  10. I'll be at the St. Catharines Game and Fish table both days. Stop by and get your membership and salmon derby ticket
  11. What about the time zone difference? LMAO
  12. I must get my full compliment of stretching then. It takes me that long just to crawl out of bed every day
  13. I see sailboats where the motor is mounted up high and pivots into the water. There might be something like that for powerboats.
  14. Your other problem is air in the line
  15. My all time fav is the bubblegum Spanko. Same as a senko, just made by a buddy of mine
  16. WTG Dave, you are a class act. I love your shows ( when I can catch them that is)
  17. Internet explorer is like that at my work, mozzila at home is fine
  18. To my knowledge, the Welland river should be frozen over. As far as the NIagara river, it's a a big river. It realy depends on where you are staying in the Falls. Shoot me a PM and I can help you out.
