  3. Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I was actually happy with the neoprene and how durable it was, had this one for quite sometime, it is a bit hot on mild days thats the thing, but we'll see and like I said I'll keep it in mind
  4. Finally found the leak....It's a puncture at the tip of the booth right by the big toe .... Hopefully this is the only one...ended up plugging it with my tire repair kit and then sealing it with shoe goo on top.. Thanks again guys...hopefully this works
  5. Thanks Chris
  6. LOL
  7. I think with all these tips I should be able to pin point and seal the leak... Btw..where can you get shoe goo? Sorry guys I've never come across this product. Thanks in advance

  9. Thanks for the tips..I'm gonna try them and see if can get away with repairing them instead of buying new ones. BillM: I filled it up and nothing...absolutely no leak anywhere. The water seem to come in but not the other way around
  10. Hi fellas, I slipped two weeks ago and landed on my knees on a rocky river bed with some steel mesh on the banks, a few minutes later cold water slowly seeped in and it was bearable at the time as it wasn't that cold. Been trying to find where the leak is but have had no success doing so. I poured water into the boot and tried sqeezing it but water was not coming out from anywhere. I have a suspicion it's from the seam between the boot and neoprene junction, it felt it was coming from there when it leaked. But close inspection does not show any tear or seam thats undone, I'm at a loss how to fix this, perhaps a new pair, the wader is still in good condition...so i'm hesitant. Any tips and info would be much appreciated...thanks in advance Edwin

    Roe

Depending on what context, An Ethical Comittee is correct grammar wise Anyway as for roe, like the op I am new to the sport, and have tried tying myself and it worked out fine, uncured and just tied straight up
  12. Sweet outing outing Miller, i like the last fish...pretty stout and the brown has amazing markings on the gill plate. Congrats
  13. We just gotta break out the webster every sentence. I think we all had our share of not thinking and just hitting post...as a few members have already pointed out careful wording would get your point across with good results, if not better, hey even better gain a friend or two.And the bonus...you don't even have to use big words for it.
  14. You bet Tyler I enjoyed this As always great report dude.
  15. Mike that was awesome, Brendan is gonna be a formidable angler someday...full of enthusaism.... infectious indeed.thanks for sharing

  18. I HAVE HEARD OF THIS TRICK BUT WAS NOT SURE HOW TO DO IT, THE LADY WHO TOLD ME ABOUT THIS USED THIS METHOD IN HER MASON JARS FOR PICKLES. DO YOU LIGHT IT UP INSIDE THE JAR AND CLOSE IT, OR YOU CLOSE THE JAR AND LIGHT IT UP AND PUT IT ON TOP?
  19. I was in the same boat as you this tuesday...only it was a neighbors visitor. I was not home when it happened...The guy was backing up and he smacked in to my driver side(front) door and knocking out my side mirror, damage was much worse that yours. He was goona run and let me foot the bill good thing I had a good neighbor and stepped in front of his car as he was trying to hightail his way out of there and almost got hit...the guy had no choice then but to give his info.So in my case I called the insurance, filed police report and got my car into the shop. I have no car for a week but I was provided with a rental. My point is it's good to have a nice neighbor. You can gain one by letting it slide since your planning to get a new one and your card is old, They had a change of heart so i think they deserve a second chance. So I would give them a call, that would be what I would do.
  20. Yeah i think what i have is at the later stage. thanks brian for the tips and sorry for getting a little off topic folks.Didn't mean to hijack this one, with that said peace..out.
  21. I've tried the egg loop but have never fished skein, does the egg fall off? The ones I have are starting to come apart so I think it's I'd have to scrape it. I dunno I'm too delicate with it, actually, i didn't want to loose eggs so i tied then in roe bags.. A buddy of mine gave me some salmon roe last fall and I just finished it this year and this one had some skein on, I tied them with skein on and it worked but I do however wanna try what you suggested, I can see why it is deadly, with all the color and smell to it, I would think it would be hard to resist.
  22. Gotcha Brian
  23. I'll keep that in mind I don't have that much to store. You just put em in there no saran wrap of anything?
  24. I took some out and they are sticky like crazy. I tried tying then in roe bags and i had ti wear gloves, they are jammy alright.
  25. They look cool and looks like a good design and concept
