I made that very comment to the person whom sent me the file. And I added I bet some will catch a fish in the closed area and say they caught it in the rivers too... He said something to the effect "it's going to be hard on the CO's"

The file was sent to me from a person on the board with the MRN. He just got it yesterday and it should be on the site in a few days in the "info on lake scugog" area

Yeah, the person whom sent me the PDF today did say (just now via text) that you can fish the rivers for walleye in the summer on the other sides of said boundaries. And he's been working with the MNR on this for the past 3 straight years.

Call the hut operators in the Minden area cause you may score a deal due to the bad season so far. Then you get a parking spot and most of the times a ride out to the hut(s). Miners Bay has a guy I (with a few others) rented off a few years ago (lakers and whitefish). The one thing is lake access and parking if you are going to 'wing-it' by using maps.

Even with the smaller window of time John, each day he has now is a bonus day when you look at this from a different angel.
