how'd ya hook that one with no head?!?!?!
I'll be heading out to the Bog later for the bit as the sun set's. I hope any fish I get still have a head...
So the report goes like this.
Perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch and more perch. To bad I had to get going before the walleye bite got going... Considering I have never fished for perch it was fun!
Hey all.
So I'm heading over to the Bog after lunch today and was wondering where I can get some live bait between Whitby and the Bog? Thanks folks!
Geoff
I am not one for prayers either but I did say one for you and your family today when I read this.
I have 2 kids, 5 and 2 and my 2-year old son is sick right now and the Dr's are not sure what is wrong with him either so I kind of feel what you are going through. Be strong as I'm sure Izzy's looking to her daddy for strength.
I just used that very line in 20LB as my backing on new baitcaster ONLY to fill the spool. Like I mentioned in another thread; I find to to be like floss and to not perform well on a spinning setup & worse on a baitcaster. I will try others but Spider Wire IMHO is great.
CC, if you go out later in the day let me know. I plan on going out after lunch as I have emails I have to catch up on from being off for the past week and a bit...
Geoff
I have used ppro (not often to say yes or no) and a the berkley crystal fire line (HATE IT) and Spider Wire (by Berkley too I think) and the Spider Wire casts VERY well and it's strong. After 2-years on the spool it's not all that faded and will become the tie to the backing this summer. I got 2 more 150 YD packs at BPS the other day of it as I am that happy with it...
Sam, I know the folks at MicroAge in Bellville, call them if you need more help after what you get here.
If you want contacts PM me as they are a VAR I work with, cheers.
Geoff
I just had to reach out and say thanks to the angler I was fishing with today in the Shawa providing me with tips and ROE! I'll have to drop Rudy a note to say thanks to you too just incase you miss this. THANKS AGAIN and I hope we cross paths again... Cheers and THANKS!
