I was fishing from 2 to 4 and hooked in to about 30 perch with my buddy and only 5 were decent enough to bring home.

So the report goes like this. Perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch, perch and more perch. To bad I had to get going before the walleye bite got going... Considering I have never fished for perch it was fun!

I am not one for prayers either but I did say one for you and your family today when I read this. I have 2 kids, 5 and 2 and my 2-year old son is sick right now and the Dr's are not sure what is wrong with him either so I kind of feel what you are going through. Be strong as I'm sure Izzy's looking to her daddy for strength.

I just used that very line in 20LB as my backing on new baitcaster ONLY to fill the spool. Like I mentioned in another thread; I find to to be like floss and to not perform well on a spinning setup & worse on a baitcaster. I will try others but Spider Wire IMHO is great.

I have used ppro (not often to say yes or no) and a the berkley crystal fire line (HATE IT) and Spider Wire (by Berkley too I think) and the Spider Wire casts VERY well and it's strong. After 2-years on the spool it's not all that faded and will become the tie to the backing this summer. I got 2 more 150 YD packs at BPS the other day of it as I am that happy with it...
