ok, someone just give me a fly reel then to test this out. mine's at the cottage burried away in the back of the boathouse and I can't get at it because the boat's now in there too. then after a trip or two or three on the ice I'll report back as to how it did. that and I need Phil to get me a Fenwick ice rod to "demo" with it too...

I went to the LCBO last weekend and from when I got out of my car to when I got back into my car I was asked 3 times to donate to xyz fund. people outside begging, staff at the cash and people asking when you walk out. I give all the time too and I pick who it goes to. Stop asking me for a damn handout 3 times while I run in to get my wife a wine.

they are a real nice looking and feeling rod. even the fake cork grip feels nice and that the whole top half of the grip winds down with no threads showing is a plus too.
