    Fish Diet

My parents used to freeze fish in milk cartons all the time... we don't usually freeze much.. it never makes it to the freezer. I think the coolest thing I ever saw cleaning a fish was live crayfish in a pike belly. man were they happy to get outta there!!
  4. hey.. do i take innisfil beach road all the way to get there??
  5. Awesome pictures!!
  6. Thanks, they are a client of mine so im likely biased.. hopefully someone here has stayed there!!
  7. What I thought was cool about it is it could be used to hold the net ouitside the boat.. make unhooking fish much easier when with no one else and or kids...
  8. LOL.. ya ditto dude.... were just lucky I guess..
  9. Hi Bob.. I did watch them, ... still it looks tough to me.. I think I need some hands on lessons... I have the spot, just need the training.
  10. I'm not sure what he means??? I certainly had a stake in it... getting people out to the G2G and promoting the event is part of my JOB around here .. yes.. its true... promotion OMG. Do we promote the show??? Yes... Do we go to the show... yes.... do our clients, friends and members go to the show... yes... Did I spend the time to give out $700 worth of FREE entries to the show, gather names and mail them?? yes. Did the show pay me dime one for any of that??? NO. They were just happy to get some juice on our board while allowing ALOT of our members to get in gratis. Please enlighten me as to what your reading between the lines that I'm unaware of??? Did you go to the show?? Was it not what you expected?? Your post is pretty ambiguous, and Id really like to know what you mean??
  11. I said this last year... the fishing show is what ya want it to be... there's always gonna be people who don't like it. Ya spend that much on an entry fee to go see movies anymore, and then they charge ya 14 bucks for popcorn. (ill take a 9 dollar beer any day.. over 14 dollar weak coke and greasy popcorn) If your disappointed in the show.. well there's not much anyone can do about that. I go to the show for a whole lot of different reasons and it costs me a whole lot more than the price of admission... ( I do get in free though .. lol ) For me our whole fishing experience is the 1/2 isle at my local CT so to be able to walk around in a venue that large is well worth the $$ for me. Plus, and most importantly, its a chance to have face time with forum members, lodge clients, people that I help, and people that help me through the course of the year .. its like the new years eve of the fishing season to me you may say. I met alot of people that we're at the show, with products and booths only to show support for the industry in general. Its the only all fishing show we have. I guess what I'm saying is it represents different things to different people. It is what it is.

  23. We saw SOOOOO many people... Lots of old faces.. well "well known" faces.. lol, and got to meet a TON of new people. Had a blast at the G2G. Here's some pictures we took, this ones the best.. that was one happy girl.. and now she knows girls ARE better anglers. Pete and Corvette1 Esther Maina Steve and the Maina's www.petemaina.com HTHM, Phill Harrison, and Maureen at their booth. www.offthedock.net Uncle Buck and his girl Our Newest Client, Steve from Chaudiere Lodge Greg and Gavin from DT Powersports (thanks for the tickets!!) This is one booth that really got my attention, just because it was set up well, and looked really pretty, I don't fly fish, but wow.. if i did... looks like they have a nice website as well.. reelflies.ca I thought this product was a great concept for cutting line, I was gonna come back and get a couple but of course forgot.. I think the guy said it was patented and made here as well. http://www.zipcutpro.com/ My wife holding JP up..... its a good thing we live far far away..... Big Buck and Squid Roy and da boys! Paul Powis otherwise known as "House" LOL ( http://www.jpfish.com ) and "Bull Dog".. Paul kept me busy (distracting me I think..) whilst my wife was entertained with stories of Wales... Bull Dog wanted to drive the Ridgline so badly I "let" him drive it back to the motel after dinner... lol. your welcome... hahaha.. Paul by the way did the Filleting Fish Freshwater Edition DVD by Rapala Pete and Esther My wifey and two hacks... At least I always wind up with the girl... lol Anyway, it was a GREAT day... got to meet Big Jim finally and countless others, got some Gloomis shirts and had JP show me about this new indestructible line of Shimano rods, which are quit reasonable in price.. right up my alley! Dinner and drinks were great, as always everyone there board members, including Dave and JP were generous beyond the call of duty. Now I gotta get to work!! Thanks to all for the $9 tallboys!! If I missed anyone, accept my apology.. lol.. its too much in one day for a hick like me to remember.
