So.. I go through the entire CRA and Ontario Govt sites, and Ill be darned if I can find out what the min age for work is.. Averys chomping at the bit to get a job, and I'd like to be informed. Plus the fact that the kids are more than computer literate enough to help me out here, but I cant find any info.. does anyone here know anything about this??

LOL..sorry I haven't piped in yet... This last week was so busy.. i havent had much time to look at the board!! Let me give some thought on this, like whats been mentioned, its a ton of work and cost to redistribute stuff like this, only to make a buck or two, plus everything would have to be preordered AND paid for.. LOL.. I still have boat flags from two years ago. I do have an idea though!! Ill run it by the mods, and I think it will suit everyone. Give me a day or two to get the board of directors approval!! LOL.. Terry... nice job.. im quite flattered!!

Ontario government restores significant hunting opportunities Heritage activities returned in Kawartha Highlands Signature Site Park After years of discussion and public consultation, the Ministry of Natural Resources (M.N.R.) has released the decision on amendments to regulate hunting in the Kawartha Highlands Signature Site (K.H.S.S.). The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (O.F.A.H.) is pleased that Minister of Natural Resources Donna Cansfield has responded by appropriately restoring significant hunting opportunities to the park. Posted on the Environmental Bill of Rights (E.B.R.) registry in October of 2008, the amendment to the regulation under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997, had proposed more closely restoring traditional K.H.S.S. hunting activities to those that were practiced before the park's regulation in 2005. The initial regulation did not impact on deer or moose, but it did overly restrict other opportunities. In the decision, the M.N.R. reported that there were 2,714 comments submitted to the E.B.R. posting, most of which were favorable to hunting. "The broad support of local stakeholders and O.F.A.H. members greatly assisted our efforts with the M.N.R. to recover important hunting opportunities in the Kawartha Highlands Signature Site Park," said Mike Reader, O.F.A.H. Executive Director. The K.H.S.S. is a 37,587-hectare park that lies within Wildlife Management Unit 60, and is situated approximately 50 kilometers north of Peterborough. The regulation amendment restores the black bear season to September 1, permits a wild turkey season, restores rabbit and hare seasons, as well as seasons for fox and raccoon. It does, however, institute a moratorium on wolf and coyote hunting for a minimum of two years, closes hunting for non-scheduled wildlife such as porcupines and crows, and prohibits all hunting from the Friday before the May long weekend through August 31. With over 100,000 members, subscribers and supporters, and 655 member clubs, the O.F.A.H. is the largest nonprofit, charitable, fishing, hunting and conservation-based organization in Ontario, and the voice of anglers and hunters. O.F.A.H. praises Environment Canada for Lake Simcoe Clean-Up Federal government funds O.F.A.H. projects to benefit important provincial fishery The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (O.F.A.H.) will undertake two projects in the Lake Simcoe watershed this year through funding provided under the Lake Simcoe Clean-Up Fund, part of the Government of Canada's Action Plan for Clean Water. In total, the O.F.A.H.-led Lake Simcoe projects will receive $185,706 from Environment Canada. The larger of the two projects is being delivered through the O.F.A.H./M.N.R. Invading Species Awareness Program. The monitoring project will use the Internet to enlist stakeholder participation in tracking the presence of already established invasive species, such as round goby and zebra mussels in the Lake Simcoe basin, as well as the possible discovery of new invaders. "This Environment Canada funding will enable the Invading Species Awareness Program to increase our knowledge of those invasive species that pose a critical threat to the health of Lake Simcoe, and at the same time, build the pilot for an online tracking system that can be used province wide," said Mike Reader, O.F.A.H. Executive Director. In the next few months, program staff will hold workshops to train volunteers to identify and report invasive species sightings. Initial funding will provide for the planning of three stream improvement projects, to be completed in partnership with landowners. It is anticipated that future phases will see at least eight C.S.S.P. projects completed in priority Lake Simcoe subwatersheds during 2009. "Community stewardship is critical to the success of any conservation initiative. We're pleased that Environment Canada is supporting this effort under the Lake Simcoe Clean-Up Fund, and we look forward to working with local residents in the restoration of this valuable lake," said Reader. The C.S.S.P. is hosting two public meetings to inform watershed residents about this important stewardship opportunity. A meeting is scheduled for March 28, 2009 at the Brian Orser Arena in Orillia.
