  1. Camera technology has gotten better by leaps and bounds. The bad camera footage is either old systems or a cheap camera. I've seen some that are crystal clear and the person is identified immediately. It all comes down to how much you want to pay and how bad break and enters are in your area. If I lived in the GTA I would spend money on a camera system. Thank god I don't though lol
  2. I remember when I was 14 I went out and bought Rapalas brand new suspending husky jerk....cost me $10 and I lost it first cast
  3. I responded to one of the warm up thefts lol smh
  4. Keep trees, shrubs and bushes away from the front of your house, if you do have them keep them trimmed short. What you think is privacy gives the bad guy concealment and time to move around in your yard. Keep your house well lit. Lock your doors and cars up at night and keep valuables out of your cars. If you live in the gta get a remote car starter because warm up thefts are huge here
  5. There are plenty of companies out there, do your home work. A beware of dog sign works too. Keep in mind, the pro thieves don't care about an alarm system though, professionally speaking.
  6. I would also call the police because it's mischief endangering life and setting traps
  7. Oh lew lol... Wouldn't defend that ticket unless it was midnight
  8. I have a Honda odyssey and bought it used. My van was a lease out and the first owner took care of it. I've put probably 100,000kms on it and not one problem with it other than wear and tear. We love it. Buy used if you need a van
  9. A friend of mine was renovating a house outside of Montreal and in the wall he found a bunch of shoe boxes full of momentos and photos. One of the boxes had a complete 1952 parkhurst set.... In pretty good condition and flipped it for a solid down payment on his house. That's like finding the holy grail of hockey cards
  10. Got that one too! This is one of my favorites in my collection http://www.amazon.com/1954-Topps-Jackie-Robinson-Baseball/dp/B00K0T7VUI
  11. I've had several friends and coworkers seriously injured by a drunk driver. I've also been rear ended by a drunk
  12. Lol that's the thing about cards, one minute they're hot and the next they're not
  13. Lol there's a bit of a demand for those eras with autograph collectors. They buy the mass produced cards to get signed
  14. Baseball was even more mass produced from 1985-95 but there are some exceptions in there in terms of value but not a whole lot. The only valuable cards of the early 1990s is ken Griffey jrs 1989 upper deck and Derek Jeters 1993 rookie
  15. Felonies are American. It's an indictable offence however they aren't treated the same as someone who say commits an armed robbery
  16. Well there's a couple of ways you can do it, but it all depends on what you have. Generally cards from 1989-1995 are worth pennies, even the big rookies from that era like Jagr are only worth $1. I would not waste money on grading those. If you have stuff from the late 60s to 1988 then that's a different story because you'll most likely have the big cards. I would get those graded. In terms of selling them, you won't get much If they are in the 1989-95 range. But If you have the high end stuff from 1960s-88 then I'd take them (if you can) to the national card show that's run at the international centre three times a year in Mississauga. I don't like using eBay because of the fees. You can also try collector message boards and forums. Any questions let me know I'm a collector and can help you out
  17. Yes I remembered watching it as a kid and I liked it. Couldn't remember the name of it. It was intended to be the sequel but none of the original cast was in it. The Culkin brothers played Ralph and randy
  18. The average I see is a plea out to careless driving, $1000 fine and a 1 yr suspension. I've seen very few drunk drivers go to jail. Maybe 4 of the 300 or so I've dealt with in the last 8 yrs
  19. I wish everyone made that choice. Too many impaireds on the road, don't get tired catching them.
