Hey Rien, Im not sure if I will a good help, but I went there last year for May 24 weekend.I must say Kerrie, Gary are CLASS act for a outfitter.Great service and hospitallity, As for the fishing, we only fish the river itself.We caught a good numbers of bass and only a 2 walleye and few pikes.But the weather was terrible,We had blizzard condition and the water temp was still pretty cold. We only fish 2 days and did ok. Mike(MR,Eh) could probly give more advice on the place.If I am correctm he has been up there more often then me Good Luck Dan

I keep my walleye limit if I can get it. thats when I get it Cause I love my shore lunch.I think I spend enought threw the year to deserve a good supper and lunch

Hey Moosehead, I havent been there all year this year,but from what Im hearing, there doing pretty good this year,I usually spend my winters out there, but this year, well has not been a good year for anything this winter. But like walleyejigger post,he is right. There probly is about 3 to 4 ft of ice.I tried in front of my house on the river on sunday, and there was a good foot of ice.So, the lake should have PLENTY Anyway, good luck and hope you catch your limit

I beleive those pics where taking 1 hr from my house on highway 101 by foloyet.I was told by the groundhog river off the highway, I could be wrong also, but thats story I keep hearing . Great report and pics Scott. Too bad about the fishing.Nippising can be a tough go lots of times.I see MANY post from other boards also, that the fishing was slow.and plp catching little to nothing. Thats why this year,I am going to Abbitibi, im hoping that the fishign will be better Anyway, Love the report bud, good to see you fishing in a hut then along the riverside
