I've got a trip planned for the Friday the 27th to portage into Algonquin park(Brent access) for trout opener and will be staying till Tuesday. A couple of portages involved but we'll hit a couple Trout lakes. Looks like the area is going to have a possibility of 15cm of snow next week..lol...should make it interesting. I've got my usual blue fox, crocodiles, husky jerks and cleos that are proven to work. Any other suggestions on tackle? We'll be traveling light as the portage is not on the easy level.

Stay away from the Trailblazer, mine(both of them) were lemons, sucked the gas and were expensive. I've just replace my TB with a new Silverado, 5.3l, 6 speed auto, z71 series 4x4. Amazing truck and get 11l per 100km or better mileage. Tows my 20' boat like it's not even there. Get an extended or crew cab and it'll do all applications. Gm/Chev have great discounts and incentives. Worth buying new imo

Leave it to a laff fan to make fun of someones physical appearance and speech! Then again, watching the Laffs play can cause brain damage, after all, they still cheer for them. I thought all the laff fans would be gone by now, now that their messiah has been eliminated...again!!

So in response. I love this stuff! First off, clearly some of the laffs should not be in the NHL. Secondly, the laffs did NOT make the playoffs,again, so to say they don't suck after 8 yrs missing post season action, would be incorrect. Thirdly, a huge number of laff fans would NOT disagree with any of the above, which is even more disturbing, but not out of the expected by non-laff fans. Side note, that lame apology(with the tie one) by Burkie was as pathetic as it gets!!!! It's fair to say that I don't like the laffs for many valid reasons, but to say they don't suck is just untrue!

They are probably late 70's, early 80's models. Casings are cracking from age and the gears jump while retrieving. I'd be surprised if parts were even available

My old cannons are kaput, I'm in the market for some new ones. I rarely fish deeper than 150'. Any suggestions?

We don't waste our time with the lower teams, however, we did beat the Bruins, Penguins, Flyers and a few other top teams as of late! So keep watchin the SENS with your bitter feelings and remember, the laffs will miss the playoffs again next year, like the last 7.

Absolutely, Pens Philly will be epic. Now the Sens are in the playoffs with a solid win! GO SENS GO!!!!!! Playing awesome without their #1 center and Alfie(PRAISE ALFIE) it'll be a good first round series!

After much hard work searching the seasonal movement of the locust, I have found where they summer after a long hard winter....
