  1. They did, it's called laff fans at Scotia Bank Place...... :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
  2. I fish right in front of it on many occasions, it's truly a remarkable structure, and a beautiful area. Enjoy your brunch!
  3. Yup I felt shame, even a bit of nausea, woke up this morning feeling like I had drank rotten pumpkin skreech, but I did it. I cheered for the laffs yesterday. :wallbash: Who woulda thunk the laffs would help the SENS secure a playoff spot. Thanks TML!! :rofl2:
  4. Yes I was watching the game, no I don't love the laffs, I love watching the laffs get beaten! 11 home losses in a row, ouch, or should I say wooohoooo!!!!
  5. Man I love baseball, the blue jays are my favorite team, seems 18000 + at the laff game agree with me! Gauthier got fired, how long till burkie does?
  6. Give all players on the field a bat, make it contact and maybe it would be interesting..lol
  7. Baseball???? OMG, really? Any pro sport (and I use that term loosely) that 2 games are played back to back on the same night, and no one sweats, is boring and bordering on a "past time" and not a sport!
  8. I've heard of the raised dish before but didn't think of it, yes it works. I've watched enough of Cesar to see his success and techniques, he's good! Copper(my boy) knows I'm the Alpha, and there is no issue there, just the food, it turns him into an idiot. I've stood between him and his dish asserting dominance, hoping to get him out of the "red" zone(as Cesar puts it), but he'll just cower and shake, for as long as I'm there. I'm starting to believe that only total seclusion while eating is needed, a micro second after finishing his food, he's back to normal. As if nothing has happened.
  9. Some very good, sound advice guys, and I appreciate it more than I can say. He has been limping a bit in his right front shoulder but the vet(who he sees regularly) says he's in really good shape for his age. I'm going to alter his feeding, as suggested in here, and will give extra caution for the foreseeable future. He deserves to be understood and given credit for being an amazing dog for the past 10 years. Plus, this route will hopefully get ME out of the doghouse, no pun intended!
  10. I have in the past tried to curb his dominance over food by hand feeding him one piece of his food at a time. he reacted ok to it and even seemed to enjoy the time doing it. Maybe I need to start doing this again!
  11. This is what has me worried, the bottom line for me is that biting is not to be tolerated, under any circumstances. I agree with the comment that maybe I, and no one else, should feed him. And do it away for the family to see if it will lessen his stress during eating. Putting him down would crush me.
  12. I wasn't home, but it seems she was giving him the "ok" to eat, we have him wait until he is "released". It was the morning feed, part of my wife's daily routing: make lunches, feed the dog, get ready for work. He's always been a bit of a grump with food but has never taken it further than a growl, until now. He's such a loving dog otherwise, I'm surprised he did bite, and although it was a nip on the finger, it still has me concerned his age may be playing into this. This is hard, he's my boy, he thinks the world of me, we do a lot together. I can't dismiss the possibility of him doing it again!
  13. My 10yr old chocolate lab bit my wife on the hand today while she was feeding him, and drew blood. My reaction was that if he can't be trusted, he has to go! We've had him since he was a puppy, I have 2 teenage daughters, and dread the thought of him biting one of them in the face while showing him some affection. This opinion, getting rid of him, has made me public enemy # 1 in the house. Not sure I can live with the possibility of him biting again, he's always been a great dog. Was this a one time thing or should I be concerned?
  14. Well, let's see! Being that it's spring, and the laffs are out of the playoffs, Muskie is closed, Walleye is closed, lakes are in the ice off transition stage, I would have to say a high percentage of my posts are "Hockey" related this time of year. Why? Because if there is one thing that is a constant, it that the laffs will suck! All that said, I do post on nice catches posts, good stories posts, just not on all the NF posts. So, once the Sens are out of the playoffs, the laffs are deep in the bunkers with the sand wedge and Muskie or Laker or Walleye season is open again, I'll post some fish pics! That's if the laff fans can take all the ribbing in stride and enjoy a pic or 2 with another angler, without holding a grudge!
  15. Yup, I guess as a laff fan you have to find something to cheer about! LoL 3-0 wipe out again tonight Go SENS Go
  16. Totally awesome fish! Congrats!
  17. Does 0 fer and 36-10 mean anything to you? How about 3+?
  18. Overboard???? LoL I only tell it like I see it!!! LoL
  19. WOW, I never thought about mods being leaf(respect ) fans, and that I would be po'ing them too, interesting concept, I like it!!! That said, it's all about taking it for what it is, a game! Well said Dan!
  20. Haha, yup, won't hijack but the weather was certainly better than something else. As for the comment about the water levels on the Ottawa, man that's only bad news :-( I bet the bbqs were out in full force in Ontario this weekend
  21. +26 in Ottawa today, unbelievable weather.
  22. Are you a habs fan?
  23. Theoretically, with 16 teams in the playoffs, and only one winner, then 15 teams collapse in the playoffs. Whether you go out in the 1st round or the finals, you still "collapse" Now the kicker is, you have to make it to the playoffs, which clearly sets you above the remaining 14 teams who did not make the playoffs. So I would much rather "collapse" in the playoffs than "collapse" from Oct to April for 7 years in a row, like the Laffs... Bahahahahahha
  24. That funny cause I don't argue with fans of teams who haven't made the playoffs in 7 years bahahahaha
