We had a pretty good bite last year, I think about 57 fish in 4 days. All on either rapalas or blue fox spinners. I think bringing a wide variety would be wise, as you said, the conditions will dictate.

I'm headed into the park for a week of opener brookies and lakers and have been researching flies to try. So far I've come up with Sparkled checkout girl fly Green butt monkey Borger strip leech GRHE-pheasant tail Parachute adams fly Muddler minnow black dace If anyone has any suggestions or likes for tying, I love to hear it. PS.....No Maple Leaf flies please....lol

If the laffs had more ties than regulation losses and benefited from it in the point standings you laffites would be praising the glory of the SO like it was the second coming Instead you just keep losing like the laffs of old!!!!

It would be easy to assemble a rather lengthy list of incidents similar or worse than that hit that Darcy doled out himself. He played on that line and was both the receiver and deliverer. Its no shock!! 2 things laff fans need to get over the tucker hit the Gretzky stick incident the fact the laffs will never win another cup again ok.....maybe that was 3, but you get the idea Or maybe you don't because you're a laff fan oh well!!

You're right, I do disagree with hitting from behind, cheap shots and taking advantage of someone when vulnerable. I don't condone those actions in any way, shape or form. Period!!!!!!!! Hmmmmm...seems to me the laffs were largely outplayed by the SENS (PRAISE ALFIE) last night and managed to get the 2 points, didn't deserve the win but meh, whats ya gonna do? That poor play carried over to tonight and the laffs are starting another losing streak. As for the lucky punch, tough but the kids gotta learn, too bad laff fans take pleasure in an up and comer getting a concussion. but, I would expect any less. Sens are only 2 points behind the laffs with a game in hand, and with the laffs record the last 9 yrs and 48yrs, I wouldn't get too cocky yet

I remember the plywood at the outdoor parties on the Mattawa river back in the early 80's being stomped to death, with Stompin Tom cranked and a whole bunch of good friends and lots of booze, it always made for a whole lot of good times. Thank you Stompin Tom for the memories

See, Sins even rooting for the Sens. The difference is, the Sens (PRAISE ALFIE) played arguably the best team in the east, and got a point and lost in OT on a weak fluky goal. The laffs however, played the 12th seeded team and needed overtime to win the game and according to many laff fan comments here, looked bad in the process. Its like comparing playoff teams to non-playoff teams
