Well it works awesome. I upgraded the cables to 8 gauge except for about a foot as I was short. Big upgrade from the motorguide 55, can't wait to try it. Even quieter than the MG. Look out 'skies and lakers
-
The distance from my TM to the batteries is less than 4 feet. So I'm hoping I'll be fine. Just going out for the big test, fingers crossed lol

Thanks Bill! Much appreciated

I upgraded from a motorguide 55 to the Minn Kota 80 with Ipilot and was concerned about the circuit breaker and toggle on/off switch wiring requirements My questions: 1) My old wiring is 10 guage, the new motor calls for 8. Is it imperative that I upgrade? 2) The circuit breaker and toggle I have are 50amp, the MK calls for 60amp. I called a marina and asked if they had the 60 and the guy said the 50 will do, as in, keep the old one. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Tips on What to Look for when buying down riggers

I have the new Cannon Mag 10's and love them. The digital was considered but the extra price was too excessive imo. The brake at water line is awesome and the speed is amazing. They are a treat to use and at $500 it was well within my budget. I find them a little lees bulky than the scotties -
My wife and kids and I spent a glorious week in PEI looking out over the Northumberland strait, it was awesome. During the week we went lighthouse gazing, we went inside some incredible light houses and saw some great history. We also did a day trip to the North Cape and did the hiking trail, followed by a great meal in the restaurant. The national park was a good time as well checking out the dunes and swimming. We also did a day fishing trip for cod (I think it was Wades deep sea fishing), visited the warfs for fresh seafood and did many walks out at low tide. To sum it up, there was so much to do we hardly had enough time for all of it. Best trip I've even taken, better than Costa Rica!

Amazing eh Ron? lmao I actually didn't lite myself on fire this time It was awesome, at one point it was so quiet it was deafening. A 5 day trip was just a teaser, would have liked to stay a month.

sweet! should be some great pics taken in that boat now -
Sens are doing ok against the Pens. Anderson is amazing and now with Spezza back, we'll see what that does to get the scoring going. Nice to have another laff fan cheering for the SENS(PRAISE ALFIE). Must be almost half Laff nation switched by now. Lots of more room!!

Our yearly A-park was a little late this year due to a late ice off and then trouble scheduling days off for the 4 of us going. A Wed 4am departure had us at the launch site on Cedar lake by 9am and rady for our 7hr 3 portage trek into our campsite. Met a few folks on the paths on the way in and all had said fishing was tough, that they had shut down the week before, not looking good. Wed we had a 32 oz steak on the fire each, Needless to say we had good leftover steak and egg breakfasts for the next several days Thursday was so windy we were stuck on shore, but the camp got set up pretty well for the rest of the time. Friday we did a portage into another lake to see if the smaller back lakes were producing, we had only luck with 3 Brookies. Saturday we stuck to the lake we were camped on and decided to try and figure out what it would take to get the fish to bite. After several hrs we were able to determine that the Brookies were stuck to bottom in 12-16 FOW and almost dragging a blue and silver spinner tipped with a worm was the only thing that peaked their interest. We were able to boat 5 in 9hrs, not hugely productive but fish none the less. Another fantastic trip with good buds! Here are a few pics

I choose what I contribut to, that's my right, and nobody will change that. I have contributed since 2006. If you can't participate in a little playoff bantering then perhaps you should either grow some thicker skin or just plain ignore it and don't participate. Note to self: Ignore Chance Check! !!

Not a moderator on MCI forum, used to be forum director for a few years. Not even a member anymore. Not that any of that has to do with anything here. And to answer your question. No, I do not post regarding the laffs anywhere but here. The leafs did good, a lot better than anyone expected them too and the fans should be proud. It would have Been nice to have had more Canadian teams move on from round one. The future looks good for the leafs and the Sens had better be prepared for next season. A few more trades and the leafs will be that much better. So lighten up would ya, you should be happy they got as far as they did. I just think they suck!

Ahhhhh , what a splendid, beautiful day it is today! Hey, did anyone catch the game last night?
-
Really now! Can you really dispute that a total mocking isn't warranted after that colossal choke. Never again can a laff fan refer to the SENS (PRASIE ALFIE) as chokers,,,,ever!!!!! The laffs have the crown, they have set the bar, the standards have been changed, never to be outdone! Yes laff fans, your team will go down in the history books as having pulled off the biggest complete and total collapse in playoff history. For me , the only thing that could be more gratifying would be the SENS(PRAISE ALFIE) winning the cup!! Who needs lotto 649 when the laffs are playing
-
yeah , it's amazing the ice is off before the laffs are eliminated !
-
Yeah, how to play hockey
-
Well if there was ever a complete, total, self inflicted 3rd period meltdown, that was it!!!! I mean, even I am shocked at how bad the laffs played that out. Wow! Just another record for the laffs, I can read it now. "LEAFS RECORD BIGGEST EVER PLAYOFF MELTDOWN " I may have to save and frame a copy of the Toronto Sun tomorrow!!! Hey, any chance you laff fans will be interested in another good series? Sens(PRAISE ALFIE) Pitts are coming up!!
-
Meh laffs will fold tonight. Boston hasn't played nearly to their capabilities, it'll all come together tonight. Book your t offs tonight laffs fans, it might get a bit busy on the greens tomorrow lol

Awesome!!

Awesome, fast, physical game. I don't think the team that played better in that game won. Should make an interesting series with Ottawa.

Great finish by the Sens. Looking forward to round 2. I do have to say I sympathize with the habs on their battle with injuries. Still, lots of heart though
