  1. Relax, I don't really hope his hands broken, it's just for effect. After all if his leg was broken, he'd be out for much longer lol
  2. Blah blah blah lol I hope krapris hand is broken
  3. Do I really have to remind you what happened to the laffs in the playoffs last year? The greatest playoff meltdown in league history! As in EVER! REMEMBER THAT? BWAHAHAHAHA
  4. Hey I recognize that pic now! It's the laffs parade route!!!! Bwahahahahahahaha
  5. Geese, I guess my last post on the Laffs thread 2013-2014 hit a nerve eh? No matter, as you will see the Canadian Tire Center will be sold out (as usual) for every game, including the playoff games. What are playoffs you laff fans ask? Silly laffites, you have to get there first to know. Maybe you can ask your granddad what playoffs are!!
  6. The tough guys are just there to let the skilled guys lay a spankin on your laffs! Mckenzie said it right with his 2 breakdowns of the laffs and Sens(PRAISE SPEZZA). http://video.tsn.ca/?dl=pipe42/latest/1/0/1002029/clip/0 http://video.tsn.ca/?dl=pipe42/latest/1/0/1002034/clip/0 Looks like another year of no playoffs for laff fans
  7. Yes they are easy to palm and very comfortable, when you are working and burning the baits in this reel won't wear you out just holding on to it.I see a lot of guys out here using the 300dsv, 300e, revo and now guys are spending the crazy bucks on the tranx. That said, a lot of 50-50 cast/trollers are still using the abu 6500/5500 series. Shopping around f or a discounted second hand reel is also a good option.
  8. Lots of good comments, some questionable ones as well. A more expensive reel has some qualities others can't touch, period. If you spend the money you will get a reel that; is smooth casts very long distances is light in weight has potentially a lower profile (less bulky) Better interior components Lasts longer Less tiring If you are a seriously addicted caster who throws heavy bucktails and big glide baits all day every day, you will want to spend the money on a high quality reel. On the other hand if you only get out a dozen times a year, cast 40% of the time and are not into heavy baits, and troll the rest of the time, then a less expensive reel might fit the bill. Personally, I wore out an abu 6500 in a single season. I now own 2 Curado 300E reels and have had them for about 4-5 years now. They are in fantastic shape and have caught a ton of fish on hundreds of thousands of cast(Estimate ). Get what fits your needs and you can build from there
  9. We'll see about that after the SENS (Praise Spezza) dominate your laffs this season. Most of the hockey analysts are already picking the laffs to miss the playoffs.
  10. No, just going by first hand accounts and reports from the media! Why is that hard to consider as having any degree of truth or accuracy? What are ya, a leaf fan or something?
  11. There is no reports of brake malfunction, only speculation by OC transpo, of course they will say that. Victims say the brakes were applied at the last second when the drive realized he couldn't beat the train.
  12. Victim and eyewitness accounts are pouring in. How else to you hit a train unless you are trying to beat it or aren't paying attention? The lights were on and the crossing guards were in the process of lowering. And no, obviously a billion is a bit of an exaggeration, even a ridiculous expectation that would be anyone's worst nightmare to pay. It was the point of it all.
  13. The bus drivers in Ottawa have a "get out of my way, I own the road" mentality. Unfortunate but true. As a custom home builder Project Manager with many jobs on the go at any time, I spend a considerable amount of time on the road daily visiting and managing these jobs. I see bus drivers, their conduct and driving practices all day, every day! Their driving practices lead to high probabilities of avoidable occurrences regularly, and they don't give a rats a$$. A woman and her baby were killed by a bus driver a few years back on a sunny day, on a long stretch of road with clear site and no obstacles. They pulled over into a bus lane due to car troubles and paid with their lives. Bus driver was cleared of any wrong doing. Clearly he was not watching the road, probably texting, as many other OC drivers have been caught on video doing. Now this guy tries to run a railway crossing and killed 6 people, personally I hope the families sue the city for billions!!! The Oc drivers, their attitude and training has to be improved NOW! While driving down Carling ave ( 3 lanes each direction , split with median) this morning while listening to the accident on the radio, 2 not 1 but 2 articulated busses pulled out of their stopped position on the right side(only signaling once in the pull away from the curb)at the same time. They then proceeded to cut directly across all 3 lanes in order to make the next left at the lights. The result was chaos, cars swerving, bake light going on, horns going off, people swearing, it was brutal and avoidable. All due to the drivers feeling they own the road. How would it have looked if a 6 car 2 bus pileup occurred immediately after this horrible tragedy this morning? Brutal
  14. Yup, I agree!! Because after marriage it's only upgrading, not buying!
  15. LOL , yes she does seem to be a little shy in the tooth dept. I was wondering how much of that was due to the hookset and fight. She was hooked in her left side corner of the mouth or right side as you look at the pic, the sheer weight and pull was incredible as she dragged that bait back and forth over the jaw as she battled.
  16. Gotta like underwater photography! Another shot of the big girl
  17. Haha awesome. I don't even know if Luc frequents here but he's going to now. Great job Terry.
  18. Wow, what a fish. Luc and I have hooked up fishing together through FB twice this year. The first time I lost a giant, today Luc more than made up for it with this giant. 52.125" long and an incredible head and girth. It hit a bucktail while working a shallow weed edge. Man am I going to replay it coming into view in my head for a few days lol
  19. So he didn't know, or lacked common sense as you put it! Does that make him an idiot, or just unknowledgeable about the culture of this site? Either way does it justify feeling like you've just walked into a hornets nest? Being ignorant towards something doesn't justify aggression as the response.
  20. C'mon guys!!! The guy comes on not knowing the culture of the site and asks a question and gets the rude welcome. Is that really necessary? Is this a forum or a clique?
  21. In your original post you asked for advise about shore fishing and you also listed off 3 or 4 spots you had tried already, thus sharing spots. Its not like you were asking for specific lakes or spots on a lake, and you also said any species would be good, not a specific one. I'm not sure what the problem was, but, those appear to be the rules. Don't let it bug you. That's just the way it is I guess. Perhaps befriending some folks and sharing some info in private messages would be better, Good luck
