  1. Wow, Steve Simmons certaily didn't pull any punches in that article. Me thinks Kessle won't be giving him any interview time going forward lol
  2. How ironic it is that the fans whos team tanked the earliest are talking about them the longest into the summer! You laffites crack me up!
  3. I predict the laffs will finish dead last next year, no matter what they do!
  4. Awesome. That's doing it up right.
  5. Was on my way from North Bay to Newmarket the day after it hit. I remember the damage well.
  6. Bishop, in hindsight was a mistake. That said, Lehner is still a strong prospect but looks like he'll be gone and Hammond will be kept. We still have a guy coming up who is touted to be a great goalie. Anderson is a #1 goalie no question but Bishop was, in my opinion a better goalie than Lehner. Tough call to make but as you said, it looks like the Sens have many options.
  7. Chicago in 5 is my prediction! they are just too deep and too talented. Man I wish Ottawa (specifically Muckler) wouldn't have traded Hossa.
  8. I covered the garden last night, good thing I did. No casualties and the sun is out bright and strong. Calling for rain starting tomorrow right till next weekend. My radishes are up !
  9. Who in their right mind would take on those two contracts? You guys are stuck with them for a long time. How can you call Shanny god when he has done absolutely nothing to pad a GM or front office resume? You guys crack me up!
  10. Sad to see! Bab's was a good guy, had a good resume with plenty of success and now has been lured into the career ending, black hole of suckdome known as the laffs. Sorry your legacy has been stopped Mike. You were a good man! Sniff sniff
  11. Had some interesting clouds develop but no damaging weather. Fingers crossed for now.
  12. We put our first garden in when the kids were 1 and 2 years, they have benefited from it ever since. They are 19 and 20 now. I so wanted to put some corn in as we did years ago but it wasn't in the cards.
  13. My wife and I love to garden. Over the years we've gotten better and usually have a really good crop to harvest. The garden is about 14' x 24' and gets tilled and compost added yearly. This years garden went in in about 4hrs, but with the de-weeding and tilling happening yesterday. Highlights are, for me anyway, spending time with the wife. Juicy beefsteak tomatoes on a toasted tomato sandwich, the 16 or so large mason jars of tomatoes that keep us through the winter. Of course my hot peppers. This years garden has: 2 dozen Roma tomato plants 2 Cherry tomato plants 1 dozen Beefsteak plants 8 English Cucumber plants 1 dozen super red hot chili pepper plants 40 red onion sprigs 60 beets 120 radishes Lettuce Can't wait for the harvest to start!!
  14. Looked like men against boys. One thing you can't take away from Canada is the pride and heart they play with! Solid game!
  15. When I did mine I took the time to completely disconnect everything and separate the cables into their own conduits. You can erect a tripod system to suspend the console but as other have said, do it right. Marine mohagony ply is nice but expensive. That said, pressure treated reacts with aluminum and will eat it. Templates are your friend.
  16. Into the smoker you go little candy! Gonna be yummy!
  17. Actually, I was a lone Sens fan in a sea of Habs fans. I took a bit of ribbing! lol The lake was about a mile long, maybe 1.3 max. and about the same width.
  18. One of the guys had a drone, it was awesome! Got some amazing pics with it. Watched it go almost out of sight straight up from us then zoom in at an amazing pace. Here's the gang on the dock!
  19. Hahaha...great report! By chance did you get a sponsor?
