From what I understand parking on your lawn is a by-law offence aswell, so since you got them going now they'll throw everything at you, work with them not against them. If your going up river for your first time I think you better pass on it untill someone that knows the area can take you up, its very dangerous and can be tricky. Theres no need to go up river there are tons of spots all the way down on the canadian side right out to the bar that have great quality bass. This time of the year the water is super clear and bright colours will work great, good luck and be careful out there.

Makeing the hole with a power auger or hand really does not matter you spooking them either way in shallow water, but once the holes are made keep it quite for a bit and they all come back. I guess you have never tryed fishing for brook trout? just walking out spooks them, but you catch them. Paul

Go to any ARMY SURPLUS and you'll find everything you need there for half the price, if its good for our troops its good for us and most of the stuff is brand new.

I think your talking coyotes, a wolf is massive, unless you have seen a REAL wolf in the wild you wont understand how big they can get, and the farther north you go the bigger they are, a wolf pelt from the tip of his nose to his tail can reach 10-12 feet, they are alot bigger then you think.
