  1. Nice, I'm from the other end of the province. He has the Acadian flags on the boat, is he from Cape Breton by chance?
  2. That's a beast! what part of the province is he in?
  3. Beauty fish! The pressure is off now! If I didn't get another fish through the ice all season after those, I'd still be happy!
  4. I agree, seems a little light. I like my fish to be alive when I land em!
  5. I run a 10 or 12lb main line so I can go as high as 8lb leader without ever loosing any floats.
  6. 6lb is perfect if you're using 3lb leader!
  7. You don't need a license for tidal waters. I've been here for for over a week now and the mackerel and squid are in pretty heavy.
  8. Now that I think about it, just the trolling motor and seats/mounts accounted for more than half of the Reno! So I probably spent around $800 ish on materials alone.
  9. This ended up costing about $2000 (including the trolling motor) it's a slippery slope, but I'm happy with the finished product!
  10. The exact same thing is happening on the east coast with the atlantic salmon. It's pretty sad that this may be the final nail in the coffin for the atlantic salmon, and eventually the pacific as well if open pen farming isn't stopped.
  11. That was random! Lol
  12. Yeah, it's an ice fishing reel.
  13. Just give em a lite sanding every once In a while, that'll do the trick!
  14. I have a brand new bottle that I bought with the intensions of using it one of my builds, but I just can't do it! Lol I just like the feel of natural cork. I don't want to sell it, because I like to have it on hand, but Your welcome to use some if you'd like.
  15. Close! Plasma cut actually!
  16. This is cut from 3/16 mild steel it's roughly 32" tall and 24" wide. It's painted with a flat black tremclad and weighs roughly 35lbs. It' has a lot of detail. If you look close you can see a trout in the net! Looking for $250
  17. Lol! Thanks Wayne! I've already got a lot on the go, but why not! I make a lot of other cool stuff aswell.
  18. It still needs a little more work, like heat gauges, a front shelf and handles on the smoke box latch and vent. I'll probably get it done in a year or so! Lol
  19. It can also be used as a BBQ!
  20. Here's mine, I made it compleatly from 3/16 flat sheet. The barrel is just under 4' long and has a 16" diameter. The smoke box is about 24 x 24 inches.
