Plenty of great trout fishing to be had after the park closes...
-
No...no. Skeet casting as part of a decathalon...definitely.

The more I think about it, the more I would say that this has been my best season yet. Had my first truly successful fly fishing season with good catches of brook and brown trout, my first hard and soft water inland rainbow, my first 50" + musky, and a few really excellent walleye trips.

Stay in Wawa.

Totally Agree With You.....The Pickering Airport would ruin everything.....On the bright side......Its been Opposed !
Absolutely, and for good reason. The Duffins and Rouge River valleys have got to be the two most important 'Green Belt' regions in southern ontario.

That's a real nice looking fish for a coloured up chinook!

Thanks for posting. It is still a very healthy watershed, and I was lucky enough to spot a couple of brook lampreys this spring. I hope everything is done in the future to help preserve this watershed.

Good stuff. Lower buck produced my first ever 50 incher on the opener this year. Very productive lake for walleye at times, as well.

Can't get enough of these incredibly produced live performances from one of my favourite groups.

Awesome fish! Those are chunky pinks. They must smash the spinner.

Without doing any research on this story, I'd say that the Brook Trout are non native. Kill them all and save the Cutthroats. Just another example of man interference going wrong.
'Interference going wrong' isn't exactly correct in this case. Cutties were basically fished out so they filled the void with brook trout successfully, and now they're deciding they want to focus on bringing the cutthroat back instead.
Also, where the hell do I sign up to be a part of this project? I'd be the first one on site and the last one to leave each day

The shop I used to work at had to send back far more Rapala Andros reels than any other popular line-counter, including cheaper models from Okuma and the like. Never personally used them for that reason.

I have a shorter pair of Faber's and I really enjoy them. I am far from a snowshoe connoisseur but I have plowed thru 4+ feet of powder with them with relative ease. I love my pair.

A bit of a take, from Leonard Cohen,s style.
Nice to have different artists with this style.
Cohen was the first thing I thought of when listening to these guys. Probably why I like it so much.

Some excellent folk from some talented Peterborough folk

From North Bay and up things are getting quite colourful, but south of Callander (where I am), things are just getting started. The last weekend in Sept. should be primo.
