I have a 2/3 wt Imperial that I bought used for $ 90, which was on the low side of market value, so I would say at least $ 160 for a 7/8.

Mine has to be a guy from 2008. Fishing on simcoe just past the Gannon narrows during the perch festival. Was early morning just after dawn, could barely see anything 10 feet infront of you due to the fog coming off the water. All we can here is a screaming engine full throttle going past us. Never did see the boat. Thankfully we never heard him hit anyone.
Seen that one a million times on Lake O, and have almost been hit.

That trip will certainly be a good way to figure out what musky stuff you need and what stuff you can part with...
-
Looks fake to me, you never see the guy actually get a bite. The fish are all hooked the same and theres way too much editing. Sorry not buying that lure.
LOL! Well feel free to ask him. The OP was the one who made the video, and since he lives in NWO (Northwestern Ontario) where the bass are dumber than a bag of hammers, I'm certainly convinced...
Awesome video btw!

Awesome! I'm sure the fish were just an added bonus. I think I just put another musky destination on the list though!

Good stuff. I was close to the area this weekend. Smallie fishing is excellent just about everywhere up there, but also completely blanked on the walleye. Water is already warm as hell, and the walters seem to be well into their summer doldrums. Just being up there is the best part though!

I've seen game cam photos of cougars in the haliburton area, and I know others that have as well. Not sure why there has been any doubt all these years...
-
Chris once they have attacked a dog or cat, what's next a baby or small child. It won't end with the dog it will just get more aggressive from what I've heard.
Once they get a taste....
Sounds like fear-mongering. Yes, cougars are generally fearless (for good reason), but they're also incredibly elusive and avoid getting anywhere near humans.
Regardless, I wouldn't be calling some trigger happy smokies to my house in an instance like this. If they weren't on site when the attack happened, then obviously they tracked the animal down after the fact.

There's been definitive proof for a long, long time.

What a gorgeous machine. What does it have for an inboard?
-
Fantastic stuff, as usual. A couple of those specks must have been pushing the ten pound barrier?
-
Now that's one for the mantle piece. Looks and sounds like a perfect trip. Looking for similar results this weekend, myself.

Canada Day SLAY!! Very impressive average on the Seoul, as usual. I'm droolin over here.

Transom mounts are fine for trolling, but for structure fishing can be a PITA, especially in a good wind. I would DEFINITELY consider investing in a wireless bowmount system.
-
Tasty report. I know what you mean about simcoe perchin. Too much time spent weedin out the dinks. You gotta try the Nipissing perchin next winter!
-
Those muskies are fatter than the carp! Great trophy fish!
-
Is that an inside nickname, or do you not know they're yellow perch?

Yup. There's a lot less legislation to work with these days.

I haven't found any releases that hold braid well. I also haven't found a good reason to use braid when downrigging.
