Just in case you haven't seen this....

Also, as an aside, the 2nd picture looks like a family pet. I couldn't fathom ever wanting to have my deceased dog stuffed and turned into a living room decoration...

I just picked up a 5'6" Fenwick highlander UL and threw my 1000 Sahara on it. Great combo, although I only use it for trout fishing. Like others, I would go with longer blanks if you want it for a spring crappie rod, as I find it's tough to make overly accurate casts with a very short blank.

Fall fishing = NO gloves.
This time of the year is used to condition my fingers for the up coming ice fishing season.
If my hands get to cold, I take a break for a few minutes, and warm them up in my pockets..
Bingo.
It's funny how we bundle up in semi-cold fall conditions, but when the same temps roll around in April everybody is frolicking around in t-shirts

I think a weekend like that could make a bass fisherman outta me...maybe

Gull Lake is a good lake for smallmouth, and was apparently stocked with rainbows once upon a time, but have never seen or heard of anyone actually catching any. If you like bass fishing, it has a free launch and is super easy to fish.

Something like this is bound to happen when we are putting (stocking) fish all over the country. Why are we catching Pacific Salmon in Ontario and Ontario Brook Trout in BC? Because we can? Stuff like this is just wrong.
I'd like to know why you think that's AT ALL relevant to this topic.

snells are super easy. luremaking.com is definitely your best bet.
my winter project involves catching as many pickeral as humanly possible.

I anticipate none of those reels outliving you...

Edit: I just realized, your hiding chips under those peas and carrots!
You must not be eating your vegetables! Baby corns are delicious.
Possibility of snow in the bay by sunday or monday last I saw.

Amazing bird shots, and those bruiser buckets are kinda nice too...

I caught a hen a little a while ago which gave me my seasons worth of roe. I didn't cure, just put into days worth of fishing portion ziplocks, made sure they were dry, then sucked all the air out with a straw. it was really gross inhaling all that salmon egg air but it seems to have worked.
LOL!

Wild poultry and wild trout, it doesn't get much better than that!

ive heard lake abitibi has some great places
Abitibi is definitely a good choice. Don't need to go to the Quebec side either.
-
I'd definitely say tiger trout. Awesome catch dude!

I used to love drifing big pink and red worms for chinnies...the big males smash em!
-
I had 5 hours of use on a single charge (speeds 1-3 mostly).
That's definitely not very good at all. You should be getting close to double that at least if you're running at slower speeds.

I think it's safe to assume that they're not designed for long hauls, but can still do so rather economically.

No wonder GM can't make ends meet, they have to give them away. Something about business they don't understand. Secondly, you have to plug it in and the way the price of electricity is going it doesn't make sense. Somehow this reminds me of some of their other fiascos, Olds Firenza, 6.5 GM diesel, Olds 350 diesel, Corvair, and probably a few more if I think a bit.
Can't make ends meet? 2011 was a record profit year for them. With the price of gasoline, it doesn't make much sense to buy a camaro, either.
All 3 major domestic brands have an extensive list of vehicles that were colossal failures.
Major automotive publications are giving the Volt very good reviews, and I'm starting to see them around fairly frequently.
