the niagara is truly a great fishery ,,,this time of year with the winds stirring up erie the fishing can be tough when the water is muddy..the trout shut down and don"t want to spend any energy,,you just hit it at bad time,,the guide you had probably knew this and did his best moving from spot to spot but he cannot predict the weather and fishing is fishing have never heard of any bad guides on the river,,,sure some better than others but i"m sure he gave an honest effort,,it is his liveleyhood and reputation..struckout the first three times i was there years ago when i started fishing the river but i know when you hit it right with the right presentation you will be amazed

boated 34 today,,the bass were just smashing the crankbaits,,,pitching tight wobbling cranks to shore and covering a ton of water,,the fish in the picture were kept in the livewell for the photo and were healthy as horses when released back to the lake

thanks for all the info to all,,,the dealer told me not to engage the motor when not running for this reason,,,,having the motor not under a load when in gear will cause the internals,linkage,valves etc. to move against each other

i have a new 60hp mercury 4 stroke,,it clicks when i throttle down. im sure this is the prop going faster than the shaft, i try to not throttle down to fast but every now and then i can hear it,,should i be concerned?,,

watched the show ,, i got a kick out of him but he"s fishin at some pond in florida catchin 4 inch bass ,,losin the good fish ,,throwin his rod ,in some wacked out track suit , am i gettin old or is this the future of fishing shows.
