Are you using wifi or Zigbee/ZWave? I've got a Samsung SmartThings hub which I've configured with all kinds of things. Dimmers, lights, motion sensors, water sensors, garage doors, etc etc. Wire the dimmer like you would and let the 12-24v voltage regulator take care of the LEDs. I've got the same setup for my under cabinet lights in the kitchen, works fine.

If I had to guess, I'd say not many. Not much for spawning water up there. I'm sure you could have your fill of lake trout however. Only way to really find out is get out there and wet some lines. Goodluck!

You're fine fishing dead bait unless it explicitly says you can't in the FMZ 14 regs.

There aren't many restrictions on dead bait, I know of one lake where there's only one specific type of dead bait allowed. Guys use herring/mackerel for deadsticking pike all the time, especially in the spring time and open water as well.

Check the regs.

Depends on the FMZ you're in and the water of body you're fishing. But for fish like pike in most places, dead bait is fine (mackerel included)

I think that chinny roe I gave you was at least 4-5 years old. I never brine any of my stuff. Just dry and vacuum seal.
