  1. All you need is a medium sized Johnson Silver minnow and a 5inch white twister tail on the back.. That's how I put 6 in the boat over 40 the last time I was there Don't over think it, pike aren't very smart.
  2. I use that all the time, never on steak though! It rocks on the top of burgers. Milo, those ribs look gooooood!
  3. I need to get out there for some topwater action before the sun comes up!!!
  4. Should have seen it yesterday I get to commute from Barrie > Toronto daily so I know all about that stupid highway. Luckily, I have a few backroads that usually gets me around the bad stuff when the 400 is packed solid.
  5. That thing is an absolute tank!!!!
  6. Thanks Chris, nothing you can do about the browns, just a return trip next year for a rematch!
  7. Went on a drift earlier this week with Graham Bristow in search for some brownies. Unfortunately I think we were a little to late in the season for browns (although we had a few swipes) but the resident bows were willingly taking dries.. I decided to strap on the 10-22mm for pretty much the entire day. Not really a portrait lens, but I think it turned out pretty good. Only editing that was done was highpass overlay to clean things up a bit. Other then that it's untouched. Saugeen River Resident by billmarz, on Flickr
  8. Awesome as usual Brandon!
  9. Way to warm to be fishing for trout in the Notty, they'll be floating belly up in no time. Unless you are fishing for carp or suckers, go somewhere else.
  10. That is the most badass beard I've ever seen, lol!!!
  11. My dad bought the 'Flying Lure' pack, lol. We still use them to fish docks, they work awesome!
  12. Mind passing off any info you got? I'll be there next week for a few days
  13. Yes, you should be fine.
  14. Dan, the kisser of pike! Great report man! I thought I had a monster largie the other day... It ended up being a bowfin
  15. You've got it right... The zone in which you live in has zero to do with your catch/possession limit from a different zone.
  16. Spray it down with a 50/50 mix of peroxide and water.
  17. I caught a monster smallie on a TopRaider on the French a few years ago!
  18. You pay for a license in both provinces, you are entitled to fish from each. I don't see an issue with that.
  19. According to some people here, that's how it works, lol!!!! I wonder how many charter boat customers have been charged for being over their limits once they hit shore? I dunno what to tell you man, except for that's completely inaccurate. But hey, your fish, your limit you do what you want to do I guess.
  20. ...and you are telling me to read the regs, lol.. 'The number depends on the type of licence you hold, the species, the zone in which they are caught and, in some cases, their size. ' So tell me where in the regs it states you possession limit is based upon what zone you live in, regardless of where you actually caught your fish. If you find it, I'll eat my hat.
  21. Someone needs to ask a CO, because I think we're all using personal opinions instead of facts, lol. I can't see how my possession limit is based upon where I live and not where I fish. That makes zero sense.
  22. I love tossing a bullfrog coloured TopRaider.
  23. North Fork Composites. Gary Loomis' new company...
  24. LOL!!! If you want good pics, you've gotta take them yourself.
  25. What did it say on it? They make a 13 and 13'6 if I'm not mistaken.. Dunno anyone that's taken the plunge on one yet though.
