  1. They definitely had runs in previous years (perhaps not as big) but I'm guessing you just didn't see them
  2. If fish will not bite I will spear them!!! You'd fit in well down at Erindale
  3. I think you should patent that idea, lol..
  4. I'd probably stick to Simcoe... Although out on GBay you can keep those bugger herring, lol.
  5. Chris, toss the rod butt first at the bank and hopefully it sticks in like a javelin
  6. Lazy people are always complaining about something.
  7. How hard was it to drag that thing out of the lake and onto the beach? I kid I kid! LOL!!!
  8. It's not up to Rock Auto if you get charged duty or not.. Unless you are paying for expedited shipping.
  9. Ship it to the UPs depot in Buffalo, go pick it up. There are also all kinds of places that charge you a flat rate to ship something to their address.
  10. Dave, I beat you! lol!!
  11. autopartsway.ca or here.. http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2003/toyota/highlander/brake/abs_speed_sensor.html Vance, I can buy aftermarket parts for a car that just came off the assembly line There is no 10 year limit on anything.
  12. Burt is like a 30x30 pool of death, lol!!!!
  13. That dirt goes away as easy as it comes in. Dunk it in some clean water, give it a shake and you are back in business. There isn't much to them.. Usually it's just a bit of grit in between the backplate and the spool.
  14. I didn't know getting a reel wet would cause it to immediately explode. You make it sound like guys are sticking 2ft in to the mud, lol.
  15. Bearings should last a long long time. People usually screw them up when they try to take them out, lol!! One thing I notice after fishing a local trib is that my guides are super dirty.. If the reel isn't soaked with egg juice, I'll usually just clean the inserts with a q-tip and a bit of soap. As for the reel I usually give it a good once over after every few trips.. If it's not dirty, I don't clean it. One drop of Singers Sewing machine oil per bearing should last an entire season if I don't dunk it over and over. I personally try and not to dunk my reels, but if it happens, it happens.. Not a big deal.
  16. Cliff!!! Don't be surprised if you wake up tomorrow to four flat tires, lol!!!! Seriously though, we gotta get out again man!
  17. Float tubes and smallies, oh my!!! Awesome pics Drew!
  18. I think you're talking about the elite fly fishing crowd, not us steelheaders
  19. It was shaping up to be a good day, thinking we'd wait it out a few hours until it cleared.. Then the heavens opened up and we were shot the middle finger That's steelheading for you
  20. You better call him today and reschedule. I dunno what system you're going to be on, but anything around here is going to be doubtful...
  21. It's a Liger!!!!
  22. I've caught all my 20+inch trophy brookies with Fireline Crystal, not to mention my PB 48.5in pike. I've definitely noticed it frays, but I've never had it snap on me.. I guess it's all personal preference.. I thought Suffix 832 was going to be some great line until I used.. Absolute garbage. Loses it's colour faster then PP and line wraps like crazy. I wish I didn't buy so many spools.
  23. Steel is great for the car, not very good for the passengers, lol!!! Cars are safer today then they ever have been, no one can debate that.
