  1. Just sold our 15' Legend tiller and replaced it with a Lund Pro Sport. I've got nothing but good things to say about the Legend. I put that boat through it's paces on water I never should have been on and it handled it without a problem. The only thing I can say is buy the biggest motor the boat can handle. We had a 40hp 4-stroke Honda on the back of ours and it got me out of some sketchy situations....
  2. Which ever has the best warranty..
  3. You're reading comprehension needs some work. I didn't say anything about PA vs NYS deer. I said before my oldman moved up north, he hunted NYS quite a bit. Compared to Ontario deer, NYS deer are small, but they make up for it in numbers.
  4. If you like hunting 90lb white tails, NYS is the place to go! LOL!!!! My dad used to hunt NY all the time until he moved up north. Nothing big, but man you've got some numbers over there. Great place to get your confidence.
  5. Who's making fun of the laws? I'm laughing at the fact that NYS hasn't figured out how to make licenses that can't stand up to being in the front pocket of a pair of waders for less then 12 months. BTW, if you actually fished PA, you'd realize the CO's aren't to worried when people don't wear their licenses on their hats.. (And yes, I am very well aware what's required)
  6. I don't wear my PA license on my hat (or any other part of me) it stays nice and snug in my wader compartment.. Imagine if NY made you wear the license on the outside? It would probably dissolve and go blank within 10 mins.
  7. It is when you're parking anywhere else that requires a pass (Bear point for example)
  8. Who carries their wallet on them when they're waist deep in the river? All my licenses are in a ziplock bag and put into the front compartment of my waders. PA doesn't have an issue making licenses that won't rub themselves clean, I guess NYS is behind the times.
  9. The plastic NYS licenses will almost be completely unreadable after a few weeks rubbing around in a plastic ziplock. As soon as I get mine I put a strip of duct tape over the front and back so the information doesn't get rubbed off. The last thing I need is a DEC officer up my behind because the license is almost impossible to read. Also, expiring on Sept 30th is a crock.
  10. I could use one of those infamous passes as well!!!!
  11. Tracker, sounds like a boat no one should buy. No wonder they were considerably less money when I was searching a few months ago.
  12. I need a 2 bank for the new boat.... decisions decisions!!!
  13. I'm gonna catch one of those Tree River char before I die.
  14. Sounds about right.. Something flashy to bring them in and something wiggling at the other end of the line for them to eat (If they won't take the spoon)
  15. That view is worth the price of admission!!!
  16. The reviews on that charger aren't the greatest.
  17. I'd buy a boat from the states... You'll get more for your 30k over there then you'd EVER get over here..
  18. Pretty much, there is ALWAYS a giant gaping hole at the end of that boat ramp because some idiot decided to drive out instead of testing the ice first. This goes for snowmachines, trucks, whatever.
  19. I'd buy an extended Ford warranty, but not a 3rd party...
  20. I usually find the bigger ones are the aggressors.. As soon as I drill a hole, it's usually the big ones I'll ice first, then a steady stream of smaller ones. I just move at this point and repeat the process.
  21. Smart move Dave. Enjoy the snow!
  22. Think of this as a learning experience
  23. You are confusing Unix and Linux... Both based upon System V, but completely different when it comes to licensing.
  24. Never fished the RV9.. GLX feels like it goes completely parabolic when you get into a fish, like you can feel it into the handle.. Really mushy.. It's just an odd rod (I fished a factory with the recoils) I like soft rods like the IMX which is nice and slow up top then gradually grows some balls in the bottom end.. Very similar to my Loomis IM6..
