Oh ya he was pumped. For whatever reason the fish were stacked in that spot. Fished it tons of times and didn't get anything then on that day and that time like 4 bites in 10 casts. true "feeding window" I guess haha.

So like I said in the other post we finally got on a good bite Friday. We managed to go 4/6 in 4 hours of fishing with the biggest being 48" and a total slob of a fish. Hopefully this cold front doesn't kill the bite again!

I don't know if you are going to miss much, there are going to be some heavy heavy winds.

Finally got on them good this morning. Guessing they were fired up cause of the cold front coming this weekend. Ill post the video next week!

I was out yesterday and yeah it was super clear, still no bite though. Saw some fish surface but that's about it. Lots of bait around.

Honestly the fish are there, the bait is there, the waters clean, the waters the right temperature... I have to believe this slow fishing will eventually get better. Hopefully starting tomorrow lol.

Heading out tomorrow morning early so hopefullllly it turns around. I'll post a report.

I fished the evening today on the DR it was terrible too. Fished it hard even into the dark a bit and did not even see one fish caught. So frustrating.

I went out yesterday (Saturday) morning and fished the DR. Worst morning of the year. I fished hard for 4 hours, jigging casting, using different colours, nothing. Did not see one fish caught between every boat out there. Bait everything. Water dirty, about 10" of visibility. Super frustrating. Im heading out for an evening bite today to try and switch things up, but it does not look promising.

I'm heading out on the south shore in the morning I'll let you know how bad it is. HATE north winds lol

You'll probably be better off at the Thames but I don't think either will be great, these winds look nasty. I'm still trying to figure out my weekend plans, hoping maybe the forecast changes a bit in the next 24-48 hours.

This is from last Friday where we spent the morning on the water. We ended up going 6/10 between three of us with the biggest fish being 44". Also had a few bloopers with a rod slipping out of my hand during a hookset and one of us not using a proper musky leader and paying the price for it. Overall a very fun morning. Also lost a 50" class fish!
