  1. You call that bad but average much less?

I get 25mpg in our Silverado. Not too bad for a much better truck than an eco deisel 1500 dodge

And for Toyota that's city driving. I think it's around 16-17 highway. It's def. A work truck

I'd still get one based on the fact it's not ever likely to break down with heavy, work related driving

You've already got the best truck, quit while you're ahead!

  2. I have an iPhone SE (basically the guts of a 6+ in the shell of a 5s) and I'm quite happy with it. I have an Otterbox and recommend them even though I broke mine. It saved my phone and when I phoned Otterbox they sent me a brand new one no questions asked (I did have to pay $5 for shipping). Good customer service in my books.

  3. I've stayed up there on Bark lake for a week, and for me, the fishing was very tough. It was hard to even find cover to fish, everyone who was "helping me" told me they were catching walleye trolling in 150ft of water... Of course I tried, and of course, I failed.

My only advice is go into the bakery in town and get yourself some butter tarts. Some of the best I've found in my adventures seeking fish and butter tarts. :)

When I was there I had a rental boat with no finder or nav lights so I didn't get to fish at night. The guys who did fish at night did amazing though. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. There are some huge walleye in that lake.
  4. Fyi guys, most factory tints are not tints at all but dye in the glass. This means they block 0 uv. If money's not an issue throw "air 80" (clear tint) over the factory "tints" to block uv.

New Chevs are 20% in the rear glass (other brands are probably the same but I don't know for sure). I matched that on my front passenger windows and I haven't been pulled over yet.

I had a good experience with FX Auto In Markham.

  5.

I tried doing it through my box through google. Will not show me a down load. What am I missing?

Im having great success with show box and Mobdro

Misfish it's not an app for the box, it's an add on in Kodi. If it's not already present in your kodi menu you will have to install it manually (google "how to install covenant on kodi" and you should find it easy).

  6. If there is a request made, I don't think it will succeed:

    Unavailable records

Not all information is available through Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. Some records cannot be released under Freedom of Information laws.

    Exclusions and exemptions include:

    -cabinet records

    -court records

-records containing certain law enforcement information

-records that could prejudice intergovernmental relations

*****-personal information that could invade the privacy of an individual*****

  7. You can even fight against our country and get a nice retirement package if you fight hard enough.

This is a gross misrepresentation of what occurred. The Supreme Court issued two decisions condemning the Government of Canada for breaching the Charter Rights of a Canadian citizen. Said citizen then filed a lawsuit using the SOC decisions to buttress his argument. GOC lawyers decided they would likely lose the case so they settled out of court to reduce their exposure.

  8. I first hand witness rednecks poach like crazy too...just because they have a fishing license doesnt make it ok when they take their limit home, eat it and then head out fishing all over again with 8 guys in the boat taking 32 eyes a day off georgian bay.

you all know the type, rednecks on a house boat drunk as skunks there for the morning and evening bite all week long, never a fish going back into the lake.

I regularly witness people catching Walleye at night in the Kawarthas, yelling over loud about how it's legal, then run to their car or truck and drive off. Five minutes later they're back fishing again. It's not "foreigners from Toronto" doing this (not saying that doesn't happen too).

  9. Also, I'm seeing lots of complaints about exodus not working well. It's probably done as an add on as I'm pretty sure the developers have stopped supporting it.

I've been using Elysium lately with good results. I find you have to search a show or movie 2-3 times then it will work. It times out before completing the search but resumes when you re-search. This bug may be specific to my box only.....

  10. I would have clubbed the fish so it wouldn't matter if they throw it back.

I'd also download the video if this happened here and contact OPP/MNR.

I save this on my phone for times like this:

    Fish & Wildlife Act 1997

Obstruction of hunting, trapping or fishing

    13. (1) A person shall not interfere with lawful hunting, trapping or fishing by,

    a) tampering with traps, nets, bait, firearms or any other thing used for hunting, trapping or fishing;

    B) placing himself or herself in a position, for the purpose of interfering, that hinders or prevents hunting, trapping or fishing; or

    c) engaging in an activity, for the purpose of interfering, that disturbs or is likely to disturb wildlife or fish.

    Notice without authority

    (2) A person shall not purport to give notice that entry to premises is prohibited for the purpose of hunting or fishing or that hunting or fishing is prohibited on premises unless the person has authority to give the notice. 1997, c. 41, s. 13.

  11. This is an outrage! I wonder how many people were ruthlessly stripped of their dignity, civil rights and freedoms?? These power hungry MNR guys must be stopped!!

"All told, 13 people were charged by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry during a one-week enforcement blitz back in May."

    X2!!!

  12. Rent is crazy where I am in Markham. A 1BR apartment in my building starts at $1,200 and I'm paying $1,400 for a 2BR.

Buying a house is pretty much out of the question for anyone not already in the market. Around here people pay a million dollars for a perfectly good bungalow and then bulldoze it and build a McMansion.

  13. Rather than spice them the way you like please try Montreal Steak Spice for all your veggies and meats. It is our house "spice". We use that s^%* on everything as the hot sauce lady says. Don't add any salt or anything, it's all in there and all perfectly balanced. Just try it once, please. I have a non stick BBQ tray with holes in it with high sides that is supposed to be a fish BBQ pan. That's what I use for the BBQ veggie stir fry. I don't put the soft veggies like mushrooms, zucchini and eggplant until the harder vegs like carrots and potatoes start to get fork soft. I just give it wash with a soft cloth and dish soap. It is seasoned now like a Wok.

The goat cheese which my wife loves is going in a bowl covered like you suggest tomorrow, great idea. If it wasn't so late the Q would be fired up now.

My ex-wife used to use "Chinese five spice" which is good too. I'll try the steak spice next time (I have one from Barberian streak house in Toronto that's good). The goat cheese is amazing, you won't be disappointed!

  14. I like to cut zucchini, peppers onions etc into chunks, toss in oil and your favorite spices and grill em up. After they're done put them in a glass bowl with a half chevre of goat cheese. Cover with foil and let it melt in. It's super good.

  15. I still have one piece of OF'N swag left:

The stickers were still on the old boat when I sold it years ago, and the hat got lost along the way as well. I'd have probably lost the towel too if I didn't keep it clipped to me when fishing!
