I probably should have read a few more comments before replying, I see most of my points have been made for me already!

I just can't see myself putting my safety in the hands of a computer.
You already do if you fly commercially, or live near a nuclear plant, drink treated water, go to the hospital for care, etc

With a 1000 views and 25 replies, you can bet there will be a few Tim Hortons cups there now
It was going to be rammed there soon anyways. If you know that spot, you know it, and if you've never been there you won't find it from my picture.
I thought about posting this one instead but it's not as nice lol

We live on the cusp of a time when computers will be better than man at almost everything.

It is not a well know spot though. That fact is confirmed by the lack of Tim Hortoncups.
Funny, but also sadly true! .?

Because eventually AV's will reduce traffic fatalities down to zero
Maybe not zero, but certainly less than human drivers.
I love my truck, and I love driving. But if the technology gets far enough along I'll be happy to fish an extra hour or two as let the truck drive me home while I sleep.

I don't know about whisperer lol! I do love me some walleye. We're made for each other, we both like to stay up late.
Not gonna lie though, that rainbow could out pull a stringer full of walleye in a tug of war! ???

I had a lot of great memories fishing that stretch as a kid during March break. I wiped out on that muddy path so many times – mud, ice and felt soles do not mix.LOL
It’s been a good while since I last fished there. Can’t imagine what the crowds are like now. They were horrible even 20yrs ago. But at least a few times a year, you’d see a rainbow over 20lbs get caught. It might be time to finally break out the float gear for a drift or two.
Great fish!
Thanks!
We were lucky, it wasn't very busy. I don't think it will stay like that for long though.

Nice man! No floods this year? lol
No floods, but there were ice bergs high up on the shore so it flooded at some point before I got there.

Thanks!

Very nice fish.
Thanks. I didn't know you could get whitefish in the rivers this time of year. I thought that was a fall thing. Where I shore fish for perch in spring (Simcoe) they are always closed.
-
Thanks guys. It's been twenty years since I fished the rivers. I forgot how much fun it can be. I'll be going back this week.

My camper has one from the factory and it's never gone off when using my Buddy heater in my popup camper.
I do crack the window by my head just in case.
The heater sits on the table about 3 1/2' away from the CO detector.
I brought one a few years back to an ice bungalow on 'Nip. My buddy was drunk and cold and thought it would be a good idea to turn on the gas oven for extra heat. He passed out of course, and luckily we were all awoken by the CO detector or we might not be here right now. I'm a believer.

No 15 ft isnt big at all It might be 12ft as tongue to tip is 15 ft. was hopeing a space heater would work. would using a Buddy heater with the window open a crack be enough ventilation?
x2 on above advice, do yourself a favor and get a CO detector.

As far as I know striker, clam and frabill are also not TC approved.
-
I have a two piece Salus bin and coat that is TC approved as a PFD. Call Epps in Orillia they carry them and should all sizes.
I had a one piece Mustang before. I liked it well enough it just didn't fit anymore. Decided to go two piece this time and I'm happy with the decision.

I personally think this is a great time for car enthusiasts. Sure you can't work on them much anymore, but this is the golden age of horsepower and reliability in my experience. You can get a 455 hp Camaro SS for a little over $50k out the door. I've driven one and it was an unbelievable beast but also civil and very driveable if you want it to be.
Even my Silverado rides better than most old cars, and is "lux" enough with heated seats, Bluetooth and Carplay, On Star, wifi and 4g LTE cell, lots of horses.... What's not to love?
-
I heard that, but I heard it's the gun shop guys that opened it and fishing is more of an afterthought....I suppose I should go check for myself.....
-
Yeah Sail is pretty good and where I try to go now (at least they're Canadian owned) but it's a lot longer driver to Oshawa than the old LeBaron.
-
I know how they feel a little anyways. I know LeBaron wasn't "all that" but they were the only thing in Markham. I wish it was still there.

As much as I loved my BMW's I'm a truck guy now. Kinda hard to fit my flip hut in a bimmer.
Are we trying to run before we crawl? C/AV death today

Those bugs have now killed a person (perhaps a couple more that I am not aware of).
Human drivers killed 1,858 people in Canada in 2015 alone.
Define acceptable.
