Mountsberg can be drained heavily, especially this fall with few rains. Should not a be problem to launch an inflatable, but still too shallow. Hopefully you can find areas to be on water and not on weeds.

Thank you and everyone for supporting, and James and Chris for your comments too. Some of us are C&R only, few will take as many as allowed all the time, but I believe the majority is somewhere in between and it can swing to any side all the time.

Thank you guys. No regrets about it and knew that few people would not be happy about keeping the limit. Finally was excited and had something to share, so few posts about fishing this year. Having a one year old to take care of and the wife back at work fished not more than 10 times since ice out, not much luck as well, probably got skunk 4 times including the last two outings, few weeks ago on Sturgeon and about a month ago on another lake targeting pike (from shore). Not a person who keeps the limit for freezer. Kept another limit of pike on the opening day on another lake this year. This time gave two to friends, the rest mostly for perogies, which are really nice, hope some are left to freeze for another day. If somebody wants the recipe let me know or google. That was Zone 16, the last day of bass season, would love to have a bass on the line, obviously it did not happen, so why not take the limit of pike and give bass and other fish a chance Fished from shore, initially slowly pulling a rapala flat rap perch. Got 3 pretty fast, the smallest ones, then nothing. Could cast it just few meters beyond high weeds, so mostly fished in a foot of water above the weeds. Fortunately prepared the rig using one of two huge bobbers I bought few years ago for some reason. A big jig head and another bell weight attached directly to the bottom of the bobber, looks ugly, but I could cast it 15-20m farther. This brought the last 4 that were more chunky.

good news. I did not compare literally, but they had better prices for some stuff. I always bought Power Pro lines there.

An incredible fish. Congrats! Two times I went out for walleye this year ended up with no walleye at all. The first time a couple of bass helped to relieve the pain. OMG! I suck...

I am pretty happy with Lowrance Elite-4 (an older model) for my tiny. Now it seems to come as a chirp/chartplotter variant. Very compact, a small battery (6AH more than enough for a day of fishing) attached to the bottom. The transducer is on an aluminum bar which I clamp to the side of the boat. When ice fishing it is heavy enough to be vertical when dropped into a hole.

Hi Chris. We are at 6 month and 2 weeks now. No formula so far, only breast milk with some cereal and veggies. We do not want to push him to sleep entire night since breastfeeding at night stimulates milk production. Fed 2-3 times during the night in average, more often not long time ago Just some small things we believe may help him to wake more often. We celebrated 6 month, wife ate some cake, man, what a night we had, crying after every 30min - do not mess up with sugar, avoid. Wife dreams when she can drink coffee again. But same with tea, if she drinks it in the evening - be ready for a worse sleep. Perhaps try tea with camomile around 6pm. With our older son who refused breastfeeding from the day 1 we gave him a bit of water during the night. Water is not good for the first few months but when cereal and veggies introduced it may be ok in small amounts. We think water may help stomach to rest at night while giving a feeling it is full, eventually brain sees no sense in waking up just for water Make sure the room is not too chilly and well ventilated, he may just need to get warm.

I love my Legend Ultralite 12'. You can easily pull her of a trailer alone when it is shallow. I have a 2.5hp mercury. No problem to take it off (~16kg) when i hit lakes where only electric motor allowed, but i agree that on a bigger water you have more time to enjoy the ride and view and less to fish 8.5-9L of gas per 100km to tow her ( from 7L with no trailer). I do not know how common it is but i like the fact that her wide benches are filled with foam. My estimations is that she should still carry more than 80kg when completely filled with water.

I wish it was done years ago. I do not drink much But it is not clear to me why when I am buying food I cannot buy something I sometimes want to drink and have to spend extra time and fuel to get that.

I did. Taped RCA, taped power. Put both together and taped again. Sprayed with leak sealant few times including the piece down to the camera where both cables get in. It gets almost hot when the camera is on, perhaps there are some resistors in it.

Hi, I am glad to see some of you guys wanna try to make it. I did not make photos of the process. So I've tried to show how I connected cables using Photoshop. The camera and the monitor came with a power cable each. I cut them short and soldered their red wires with the red wire of the RCA video cable. I bent the sides of the mount plate of the camera towards each other that the holes are aligned and put it on a 1/4x1/4" steel bar. Painted the bar with a permanent marker. Use more tape to hold connectors between the RCA cable and the camera together (if you are not going to cut off connectors and solder wires neatly) as if it becomes loose, your camera will stay on the bottom.

Hi, Waited for a better chance to introduce myself with a good report, but nothing special has been on my list recently. Live in south Etobicoke, started fishing about 3 years ago. Mostly targeted species I have never caught before. In the last 12 months got my first (and only) Muskie , Walleye, Steelhead and earlier Atlantic salmon. Brook trout and Splake would be next in the line, and definitely Tiger Muskie Bought a boat last spring, black Legend ultralite-12 with 2.5HP Mercury (you know, environmentally friendly) $30 camera Knew that a fish camera is not better than a fish finder, but still wanted to see what is going on there when you see fish on fish finder but nothing bites. After I looked at the prices I decided to check if I could buy a monitor and some camera separately and assemble. Fortunately there is a huge selection of rear view cameras and monitors for cars on ebay. Bought them for $31 (10 for the camera and 21 for the monitor). The camera came with a 6m long cable that has an extra wire to suply power. It is waterproof but I still put extra glue with a glue gun around the hole where the cable gets in. Plus sprayed a few times with leak sealant (having the lense protected with a tape). Perhaps should have bought a camera without parking lines Tried this Sunday on Cooks' clear water and got relatively good pictures. The report Had to make a lot of holes before we found the spot. Were surprised with the number of decent size perch against dinks, took about 25 between two of us. Perhaps threw back 10-15 dinks only. Keswick side, 1.5 km from shore, 18 feet deep, ice around 1 foot, live bait, from 8am to 12pm.

same situation, no letter received. took me 15 minutes to renew and pay online. Printed the new licence that has a line "Temporary outdoors card-fishing" that should prove I have it until I receive the plastic one.
