Ok ..... So I dont want to ask the HVAC guy I use at work for fear of looking stupid lol.. My wife was complaining that the house was dry and her hands were cracking.. So I said I might as well start up our furnace mounted humidifier... so I went down stairs clean the tray etc and set the controls to the outside temp etc... Then I started to look at the humidifier.. and thought... Hmmmm... something just doesnt look right.. Here is what I am looking at... Seems odd to me the humidifier is mounted on the Heat side with a flex hose connected to the cold air return... therefor the Cold air return is sucking any moist air into the furnace filter will this not promote mold in the furnace itself? Spreading mold spores through the house as the filter will become moist?? I use an allergen furnace filter due to my sons allergies.. is this a real issue?? and should I be looking at replacing my humidifier? it is a sears model that came with the house when I bought it. Firstly thank you for all of your advice... I have decided not to go the xcopper route.. they want 400.00 but promised my points wont go up... I read over the contract and it says if they cant get rid of the points then they pay the ticket and retain the rest... how is that a gaurantee? I am still on the hook for the fine or a portion of it regardless and sill have demerit points on my record... not interested....beside I felt a bit like OJ. Simpson going that route. I have now decided I am gonna go down to the courthouse and see what they are willing to do for me in terms of working out a deal.. If I am not satisfied with it I will take it to trial. I am guilty of speeding yes.. I agree. But I do think I have a valid reason regardless of others agree or not.. put yourself in my shoes for just a moment if you disagree. again I want to that everyone for their input Gerritt.

safe to assume it is a poured concrete foundation??? if so it can be injected to stop the leaks from the inside and might last for a lifetime. I know of a person on OFC that does such a job... PM me if interested. Other then that your son will need to do exactly what I have just done.. dig around the foundation to the weepers, Parge, tar, blue skin and Delta. (I went over kill) I hired my neighbours for the digging ( 10bux an hour) and that is all they did was dig/backfill for me.. I did the rest saved me alot of time and time is precious right now... cost me about 450.00 for a 35' section.. let me know if you want any info. Gerritt

Well Last week I got a phone call from my sons daycare.. Mr. Aalbers your son is sick and needs to get to a doctor.. I was in Greensville at the time and wasnt in my vehicle... I left mine at the shop and carpooled... Well minutes seemed like hours until we left about 20 minutes later... Needless to say I got in my truck and all I wanted to do was get to my sick boy..Normally my wife would deal with such things and deals with the lady at the daycare on a daily basis... they NEVER call me... but they could not reach my wife as she was on a Tour in Fort Erie that was work related NEEDLESS to say I was freaking out!!! most of you know the situation about me losing my first son Terry at the age of 2.. anyways I got nailed by an officer doing 81 in a 50.. I tried to explain to the officer as to why I was speeding.... he didnt care to listen Sooo here I sit with a 230.00+ fine and am facing 4 demerit points. I have called XCopper and they want 400.00 to fight it... and they say they can get rid of the demerit points... sounds great... but when I recieved their documents there is no guarantee saying I will not loose any points. and I might still have to pay the fine...albeit it might be reduced... another scenerio... I plead guilty with an explaination stating the above as my reasoning for being a moron ... By going the XCopper route I feel a bit like OJ paying to get off a charge when I am obviously guilty..... but at the same time I dont want my insurance to go up... Anyone have any experiance with XCoppers? PS... I am 31 and this is my first Speeding ticket if it helps any.. I could use any advice.. Thanks in advance! Gerritt.
