Hi everyone. I am still in a serch for 15foot G Loomis GLX fishing rod. There are more tackel shops who carries this product but I don't know if I trust them or not? Back in 2008 people told me G Loomis rods were made in China which was bit cheaper around $400. Now they have GLX for sale for almost $800 preorder bases. Again these rod doesn't say where it is made in. One of the tackel shop in Guelp told me that GLX blanks are made in US. I don't know who to belive anymore. Does anyone have any idea where GLX is made in? I don't want to spand $800 and find out that its made in China. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I want to buy my dad a loomis preferably 17 foot spinning rod for trout fishing. Can anyone tell me where I could find this rod? The last place I look was tackle shop in Guelph but they no longer carry them as most of loomis rod factory moved to China. I am looking for one that is made in USA not from China. Help would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone, I was on my way to the fall last weekend and had to make a detour because Hamilton skybridge was closed. While I was driving under the bridge, I saw few people fishing by the docks. It did look nice place for shore fishing as it was open water to Lake Ontario. What I want to know is what can I catch from under the skybridge this time of the year? I might drop by this weekend if I get a chance. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply!! I actually have few unused cameras I could use. But is the camera flash makes the lure glow better than UV light? or glow longer I should say?

Hi everyone, I went to meaford last weekend for Salmon/Trout fishing. I was there 6hrs and did not catch anything. My friend had one bite but his line was cut and that was it for all night. When I was casting my lure, I noticed other anglers with glow in dark lure use UV light and splash of flash light(I think camera flash) after a few cast. I was using just regular LED flash light and my super glow lure wasn't glowing as much. Can anyone tell me where I could get the UV flashlight? or just simple camera flash would work the same way? Thank you.

We when to the Little Lake at Barrie on Saturday. I was worry that there going to be a storm but the day was perfect for fishing. Weather was pretty cool and very little wind. I was looking to catch Bass because I never caught one in my life and I was using buzzbait. After 2hours nothing.. I gave up using buzzbait and took out a replica minnow and gave it a try. And after few throw I caught a big mouth about 10 inches long. It was my first time and I felt good. This little guy has more strength than much bigger pike. Then few minutes later another bit!! this one felt much heavier than the first one and didn't even jump. The fish went under the boat and gave a good fight for few minutes. And finally I brought up to the boat and I was surprise how big this guy was. I think at least 3~4lb Pretty good for the first time..

I didn't know they had a web site. It's the first rental/camping ground on Duckworth St off HW400. Supposly, $60 or $70 per day for 14 footer and $100 for the pontoon.

Has anyone been to Little lake in Barrie? I was thinking about going to Lake Scugog but we are heading to Little lake in Barrie. It is suppose to rain tomorrow and I don't know how well we would fish tomorrow. Does anyone have any experience on this small lake?? We are going to rent poonton and looking for Bass. Thanks.
