I agree , i think he will learn and adapt his style of play ... however some players have bad luck ... hopefully he won't be one of them

a friend of mine bought a 4 acre property near Wilberforce for 16K … not on water but there is a lake with a public boat launch just down the road and lots of other lakes close by .. helped him clear some land and put up storage shed/bunkie and the road is publicly maintained plans to sell house in GTA in a few years and is already planning to build a small house to retire …

Its great to watch the Leafs this year and last years team as well … they had skill and speed in last years playoffs and Boston made them look like a Junior A team in the first two games in my opinion ... and Washington the year before beat them in the first round as well regular season hockey is great to watch but the playoffs is a whole different beast .. Washington had the skill and the grit needed in the playoffs … Leafs lost Komarov but they still have Gardner , I think it should have been the other way around … Hopefully they will make it to the playoffs and if its Boston they meet again , I will be really pissed if they get outmuscled again …

This is nothing new ... professional athletes have always been put on a pedestal and paid ridiculous amounts of money .. its no one else's fault but our own (fans) of sports , even if we don't pay to go see a sporting event we may watch it on TV or buy some merchandise and that pays part of their salaries Soccer , race car drivers, basketball , football , they all get way more money than hockey players .. I won't lose any sleep if Marner or Nylander dont' sign because he is not making an extra million on his contract. What gets me is that we have doctors at sick kids hospital that save lives everyday and will not see an 11 million/ yr paycheck, but our society puts a different value on sports athletes.

i am well aware of how the cap works ... all i am saying is that with amount they have to spend its going to be interesting to see how it unfolds personally i think Mathews will be north of 13 million .. he is proving to be a top 3 - 5 NHL player.... hopefully he stays healthy ...

He actually makes 15 million but cap hit is 12.5 Mathews will be in that range for sure ....

I heard on Sportsnet that the Leafs have 26 million left after signing Tavares ...they have to divide into 3 contracts (Mathews, Marner and Nylander). I think they will be in 14-15 mil for Mathews, that leaves 11-12 million to keep both Nylander and Marner ... Dubas is in Switzerland meeting with Nylander , wonder what the deal will be ....

On my last truck i switched to Goodyear Duratrac after my stock tires were done, great tires in the snow I ran them year round but found they were pretty noisy in the heat of the summer. I don't know if they are considered all weather tires as the OP was asking. On my new truck i bought a set of Blizzak DM-V2's to run as winters only. They are also excellent in the snow, especially driving north in cottage country back roads.

They said on TSN that statistically October is a high goal scoring month, then teams go over videos in practices and begin to tighten up defensivly. I am sure the Leafs goal scoring opportunities will continue , i just hope they continue to score more than they let in ... LOL
