  2. I bought an "old man" topper for my Chevy for that very reason. Put in the mattress and away i go.
  3. Geeze, just when i come back to this board people are all grumpy.... Booohoooooo..... Take the bashing, it's the internet...
  4. Damn skippy, Just because its stainless, doesnt mean its corrosion proof. Wish i had some pictures of the stainless steel steam injectors we have at work here.. I dont see an issue with the odd dunk, ive done it by accident and with proper maintenance there should be issues. But for those who neglect the bearings, time will tell.
  5. Excellent report. Is that a new AngSpec in some of those pictures... Havent seen one like that before. Cheers, Andrew
  6. riverside and wharncliffe area here...thames is my backyard...
  7. Merry Xmas to you and everyone else on OFC!
  8. hey milty..As being a fellow float fisherman i know more then enough of what your talking about...but if u look at that picture with the blood on the tail, u can also see that there is blood all along its underside... Secondly....I would higly doubt ccmt would snag a fish.. Peace
  9. OK, but take into consideration water clarity, depth, flow and size..A 15 foot rod has its advantages over smaller ones. One for example would be lighter leader line for those crystal clear conditons. Not only will you get more hook ups , you will land more fish because the larger rod allows more control as well as more power to flex ratio.. Try using 3.3lb tippet and landing a large fish with a rod less then 13ft..very hard i must say.. But...If you have the money and enjoy the fishing, why not buy a gift for youself and go expensive..I love my 15ft IMX and my G3 waders..Well worth the money being comfortable and catching lots of fish..
  10. nice report! I got out as well while dinner was cooking. And caught some carp on ym new float rod..
  11. My father used leeches on the maitland last fall and caught 1 rainbow.. If you think about, patterns such as bunny strip leeches and wooley buggers are basically made to imitate them..why not give it a try!
  12. nothing wrong with quantum, sold alot of them this spring while working at Angling sport and have only heard good things about them. As silvio said, 13' may have been a better choice depending on the rivers your fishing..13' is the lowest in my arsenal, i own 2 13ft rods and 2 15ft rods for bigger huron rivers... Good luck!
  13. blinded by the chrome!!!! awesome job guys!

  18. inorder for me to comment on your question i would have to take the following into consideration. Are your jerkbaits mostly soft plastics or hard bodied baits??? Secondly are you using a spinning reel or levelwind.?
  19. i suggest driving nothing to goderich and fishing the maitland if your able too..great smallmouth bass fishery... Break out the fly rod if you have one! I'll be there on opening day with my 5WT.. Take care and tightlines...
