The fuel treatments work 2 ways first it creates a barrier between air and the fuel in the tank much like oil floats on water. This barrier cut down or stops water absorption into the ethanol in the fuel. It also encapsulates the water in the fuel and allows it to be processed thru the fuel system. If you get a slug of water in the fuel no product will separate the alcohol and the water it will settle to the bottom of the tank and the fuel pick up will send it to the carburetor/ efi.

I look at it this way $50.00 takes me roughly 20 minutes to make to give that to someone who is doing everything that they can to make my vacation better is easily done. When I am on Vacation I have usually laid out 6-10 thousand dollars a week another $50.00 isn't going to cause me to lose sleep. If spending $50.00 stresses your budget then tip less but once you are at the point in life where you are taking 6-10 thousand dollar vacations this should be an easy thing to do. Treating the people around you as good as you can will always bring positive rewards and good Karma.

Stabil 360 marine is designed to keep a barrier between the fuel surface and the air. It also will help with corrosion of the tank more so than sta bil. I use it always no matter what time of year or whether two and four stoke. A note the two stroke oil can come out of solution if allowed to set for long periods of time. Always give it a shake no matter what brand you use.

The caution I would have is if you are wearing both meaning a class 4  high impact usually has 3 or 4 straps that will not move when you are skipping across the water at a high rate of speed as well as an auto inflate vest you could be in trouble. The straps designed to not loosen in a tumble will not allow the auto vest to deploy and leave room for you to breath. A cracked rib or getting the wind knocked out of you is possible as well as jamming the release buckles so make sure if you are using both that it is a manual one. Personally I strap my manual vest to the leaning post when I am using the main motor and that reminds me to put it on before I start fishing.

I do not think that the auto inflates or the manual inflatables are rated for speed impacts. While running the bass boat we wear 4 strap jetski impact rated vests and full face helmets with whiplash collars. When off plane in waters that the shore can be seen and easily reached I do not wear a life vest unless the water is below 70F. When fishing alone or the shore is to far to easily reach I use a high speed rated while under power and a manual inflatable when fishing. I raced Jet Skis  for years competitively and a full wetsuit , whiplash collar, spine guard ,helmet and impact rated PFD were needed because of the 50MPH wrecks that occurred. I have been thrown off at full speed and had a helmet  cracked when someone hit me as they went by. The difference was we had water rescue on the course to pull you out of the water immediately. Always be safe and take the time to make sure you will come home again.

I am sorry to have lost a member here who has done nothing but good for so many people. From what I have heard he was a person that I wish I had met in life. This is one of the hardest things about being so far from all of my friends who Live up North I do not get to see them as often as I wish I could.

A butler is in charge of driving you around if the resort has golf carts. He will get you towels and chairs around the pool and a cooler of drinks or go to the bar and food services. He makes the reservations for meals and will do small things around like flowers on the bed a fan if needed find you a hammock. You can basically ask for the things you might ask you spouse to do. The tip is usually at the end of the trip and should be based on the service I usually tip $ 50.00 a day for great service. They are poorly paid by the resort and depend on it for income. If they make you happy remembering they are up 2 hours before you and usually 2 hours after. Be thoughtful and generous and you will be fine.

Are Calico bass  crappie? Did we make a new name for the calico? Renamed it crappie? Like walleye vs pickeral.  I remember as a kid catching use ones on GBAY. I was told they were calico bass then ?

White crappie and black crappie are two different species that are rarely identified correctly and reality in most cases doesn't matter. The name that covers both are Calico bass and Sac o lait (cajun).

When deep water fishing schools of bait look at the shape of the ball and how compact or loos it is. A ball that is not being harassed by feeding fish is usually tight and round in nature. Finding a ball that is blown out and scattered is usually what you want to see. I usually fish the blowouts by hitting the edges and deep at or slightly below the main body. This is the natural place for feeding fish to be at and it also will keep the bait from scattering to much by boat position and or lures splashing in the middle. The shallows are not a place bass want to hang out in if the water is to warm. If there are no hits shallow then moving out to secondary points with weeds or wood is the next step. Something to consider smallmouth bass are open water and rock related while largemouth are weed and wood relating. Rarely do the two overlap unless bait is the common thread.

No issues here we have a wack load of security and other resources on the site so it is pretty resource intensive. We are tuned for Chrome and have known unavoidable conflicts with Firefox and IE. I would advise you to clear your cashes, erase old cookies, turn off ad blockers and restart your computer this will eliminate some of the issues people have complained about. We have a monitoring program that runs reports and sends them to our IT Chad to try to keep issues to the minimum. The rock walls have been my go to for bass while fishing up North. I use 1/4 oz tube baits and cast to the walls and let it fall. If it stops small jerk and let fall again till it hits the bottom. Reel and repeat. If they are shallow look to the lilly pads and a floating frog or mouse bait. If they are deep in the matts of green use a !/2 oz weedless tube or senco and cast into the holes. Armed with this my first choice of places are the shores that have been wind blown the most in the last week. Moving from there look for the water temperatures that are in the lower 70 F and start fishing from there moving deeper as you go. Hope this helps Art

The safe to store in a condo makes me wonder. The product is 99% gasoline with the additives used in Sta-bil Marine 360 makes it good for 2 years of storage. The only difference on the product is it is in a metal can that is resealable which will keep it from releasing vapors into a living space. It is just as flammable as gas that comes from the gas station. The metal gas cans that are rated for gasoline will provide the same ease of storage as the metal tru fuel can does. So the next time you empty the tru fuel bottle use sta bil,quality 2 stroke oil and your favorite non ethanol or ethanol fuel with the sta bil product and you will have the same product much cheaper.

I have a trophy lake that I fish and largemouth bass up to 8 lbs and crappie of 13 inches are co existing. It could get out of balance but they are no more harmful than bluegill and bass combination. The advantage of it is the crappie are excellent table fare and I slow troll for the crappie as I cast for bass. A bonus crappie every little bit is a blast.

It sounds like the same relationship we have with the Blue Catfish and the Mud Shad in the Potomac River and the James down in Virginia. The bio mass of the available food is huge and the upper level predators have become gluttens and growing at a accelerated pace. The Snakehead fish that was accidentally introduced and with the food available has already coughed up a new world record within the first 14 years of them being introduced. The good news is it seems that the introduction of 2 top end predators both deemed invasive (1981 blue catfish 2002 Snakehead) has not fulfilled the prophecy of wiping out  the bass population and the food forage base. The waterways seem to have been able to absorb and rebalance to accommodate the load.
